Ooooh I had a big back tooth out the other week  it was weird trying to eat for a couple of days (and eating soft stuff chewing on the other side ;))
hope it doesnt hurt too badly....best to get some painkillers now before the numbness does wear off though :o x x

I'd agree it's good to take the painkillers before the numbness goes!
I had a back lower wisdom tooth out a few weeks ago - not as bad as expected but eating was well weird - all I could manage was mushy weetabix, and cold tinned spaghetti with instant mashed potato (not all togehther!) for a few days and the odd yoghurt - SW went out of the window as I could not face hot food, vege/fruit/salad for most of the week.

I've never taken painkillers every 6 hours for best part of a week before but had to get back to work the next day so needed them - hated taking them.

My fav meal is homemade veggie chilli (syn free - toms, quorn mince, kidney beans, sweetcorn, onions, garlic, peppers, chilli flakes) served in flour tortillas with lashings of sour cream,, cheese and lettuce. I've tried having it on SW and synning 2 tortilla (12syns total), and just 2 tbsp of sour cream (3syns) but then that's all my daily syns gone in a meal and 2 x HEA and a HEB for cheese. And TBH I'm piggy and like 3 tortillas!! Anyway I only had one tortilla left in freezer so I had that with one tbsp of sour cream so that equals 7.5syns and HEA for cheese, and then I had a small portion of the chilli on rice with my other HEA of cheese on top with a dollop of sour cream (1.5syns). Therefore reducing my meal to 9syns instead of 15 . I still feel like I had my fav meal and I have syns left for a treat too! Next time I'm going to use FF yog instead of sour cream, it's just that the SC needed using up.

I also have a SW version which is one of my faves- I think we are having tomorrow :D Yes I have decided!

Quorn chill, much how youve made it. Instead of the tortillas we have el paso taco shells that are 3.5 ( or 2.5 depending what book you have;) ) . I always do sweet potato wedges ovened in frylite as well, think the sweet pot goes well with the hotness of the chilli! Shredded lettuce, and radish, a scraping of LF from frais or quark thinned down with a little milk to save syns :D in the taco shells and laden them up.

A lower syn version is using a pack of weight watchers tortilla chips (4) and making nachos with loads of jalapenos chopped onion , cottage cheese or quark and HEA cheese :D

We have been known to make tortillas ourselves although it uses white flour and as such its not really on the SW menu!

Love quorn chilli, although the idea of using the chunks in a pie is interesting, I have only tried the chunks in fajitas before and I wasnt that impressed. PIe sounds interesting

For all you quorn lovers in Iceland the bag has 50% extra free and is £2 ( chunks or mince)

Trying to limit the damage from the weekend, think I've done OK yesterday and today. EE as usual.....yet to get my head round the other plans.

    B: Banana, mullerlight
S: Velvet crunch crisps (4), satsuma, alpen light (0.5 HEB)
L: HM Watercress, leek & potato soup, left over gratin (1.5)
    S: Buttescotch hi-fi bar (0.5 HEB), satsuma
D: Tomato ham & cheese (HEA) omelette, SW chips, salad, kiwi fruit

Going out in a bit and will have an orange tango or two (3 syns each), as I don't like diet coke, and they don't do any other diet drinks.

Back at work today, but still managed to go for a longish walk at lunchtime, and walked to and from work too. So probably walked a total of 3.5 miles today.

    Hey there

If you wanted to make this day green you can either
    a) omit the ham and have something else in the omelette, eq quorn ham or mushrooms peppers etc instead.
    b) syn the ham
    c) make it a HE

Personally I would rather this day be a green, and syn the ham ( should be v low) then you could have extra A ( cheese or milk) and a B ( cereal, bread etc.

    :)

Dizzy, the tank upgrade looks AWESOME!!

My day - a bit meh, could do better for saying it first day back on plan :o

    Extra easy - ish.
    b: 2 pickled eggs (I know...)
l: unexpected lunch out, had veg soup and bread and butter - count 1 heB, 5 syns for butter, 6 for rest of bread. Had a chilled coffee, which had a shot of syrup in it and was unexpectedly topped with cream  avoided the cream but still, prob about 8 syns for the shot and full fat milk.
t: fancied a prawn salad I found whoopsied. Also bought a ham and pea one for tomorrow, but "whoopsie" I wasn't full after 1 so had them both! :o Didn't eat all the dressing on either, and they were mainly free food, so counting 8 for the dressings. Had cheese with it for heA.

So all in all 27 syns! :o I'm not bothered about it though, as I know I have eaten well, eaten healthily (apart from the coffee), reckon I'm well inside daily calories, and eaten to appetite.

Edited to add: Oh my goodness. Just worked out calories and I'm on 891 for the day! *faints*. Now I've got a dilemma. Do I make it up because I know that's an unhealthily low amount, or just sit in smugness that it makes up for previous day's horrific overspend of calories/syns. hmm. Help?

    Id say ignore ignore ignore!

SW is not about calorie counting but about making sure your body gets all the healthy foods it needs to sustain you without hunger!

Youve your day now... so why question it :D Ive never calorie counted at all on SW, why do I need to ;)
