Hi all. Well done to all losers! I've had a change of plan and gone for a green day instead:
Brekkie - banana, grapefruit, yogurt
Lunch - pitta pizza (HEA&B), large mixed salad, salad cream (2)
Snack - grapes
Tea - large mixed salad, salmon (HEB), cheese (HEA), salad cream (2), potatoes.
I'm going to have my eatser egg later! Its a similar size to a creme egg but hollow and it has a marshmallow chic inside!!!0 -
Minxtress that sounds fine to me! I think in time you will get used to not using syns on things earlier in the day, then youll have space for a bit of choccy
it is allowed! As an aside the 2 digestives are equivalent to a dime bar !
Im sure with lots of new food in it will be easier. I always struggle when I dont have much in! But it looks like youve done well :T:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I only had the digestives as I had nothing else in and nearly choked on them when i realised how many syns!! Having said that I have just weighed out 28g of cereal and it doesnt even seem worth getting a bowl out!! I think il have to have two slices of banana on toast or something or il be starving mid morning and im not one for anything cooked or savoury for breakfast.
I will be saving my syns for chocolate once ive got my shopping in and all meals sorted without syns having to be included.
Im terrified i go back to weigh in on friday and havent lost anything, but I cant exercise as still only two weeks since my hysterectomy.0 -
Shame you cant do savoury in the morning its the most filling. Can you do beans on toast with mushrooms? If I can I have 2 breakfasts ( on the days im not at work) and do fruit and yog with tea the first one then bacon eggs, mushrooms beans toast type combo for the 2nd ( about 9). Suppose you dont have to eat immediately but I find couscous salad a god thing to have in the fridge or to take out as this is free/almost and v filling
You are right 28g of cereal is pathetic. thats why I stopped weighing it and put weight on
I have ran out of superfree today, nothing left at all, so a bit of a failiure days really. P-poor planning again :wall:
Will sort it out tomorrow thou! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Il try having my coffee soon as i get up and maybe try a savoury breakfast round 9 after school run. I think i wouldnt be hungry at lunchtime then though.
Im struggling what to have in as snacks to pick at other than fruit. Il try making up a bit couscous with peppers n toms etc see if that will do it, or maybe a jelly. Did I read somewhere that meringues are free if I make with egg whites and sweetener?0 -
Mixtress, my only concern is that (today in partic) you're not actually eating a lot of food! Be careful that you don't get to the end of the day and find yourself hungry and snacking, other than that I think the actual food is fine!
And yes if you make meringue with splenda and egg white it's free..... if you're lazy like me then sainsburys ones are only 2.5 syns0 -
Minxstress if you add your 28g of cereal to some fresh or defrosted fruit and a muller lite (or your chosen light) yoghurt it makes for a very substantial breakfast! And if you like All Bran you can have 42g of that (although i would find that too much, I have half and then use something else later for my other half HEB). If you get bored with fruit as a snack, you could try to vary the fruit or have some raw vegetables, they take longer to eat than fruit - cauliflower, carrots, baby sweetcorn, mangetout peas etc. I agree with Lil Me that you aren't eating much.
chopped banana, 28g porridge oats or other cereal, banana Muller Light
Defrosted morello cherries, cherry Muller Light and 28g of cereal
mixed raspberries and pineapple, cereal, and a "raspberry and whatever" muller light - these are some of my favourite summer breakfasts, I love 'em! and they ARE filling.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Mrs M I wish we were allowed to click the Thanks button more than once, I find your posts so inspirational!
I've had a good day today as went to a pub across the hills for lunch; my SW companion chose a prawn salad (and ahem curly fries) but I had their special which was baked camembert and chose seasonal vegetables with it, it's not my fault they added chips unbidden. I only ate a few of the chips anyway cos I don't like the corner ones, only the square ones. I know ..... Since I rarely have my full complement of HEA, though I do eat yoghurt on top of the HEA allowance, I felt eating a camembert once in a while isn't too disgraceful and it was LOVELY. The vegetables, sadly, were carrots (yuck), peas (boring) and broccoli which I did eat. We did a lot of walking too.
Who asked back there about "free" non-alcoholic drinks? I enjoy diet tonic, sparkling water, diet ginger beer (lovely) when I'm out, though I usually have one glass of wine before I turn to the diet stuff.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
