Evening allWelshWoofer wrote: »There's only so much diet coke you can drink - does anyone else have any ideas about syn free non alcoholic drinks?
I'm partial to a soda water and blackcurrent myselfI try not to drink Diet Coke as I don't think it's good for you, so I gave it up for Lent last year, last about 6 months without any, and now i have the occasionally can when I feel ill asI find it perks me up.
Well I'm proud of myself, I went out for lunch to local pub. I chose the veggie enchilada for main and it comes with rice or chips...I chose rice, and you get 'free' side of garlic bread/onion rings/salad ....and I chose salad
never ever done that before! I'll need to syn the tortilla, but the rest was veg, rice and salad.
Green day:
B - 2 x eggs fried in frylight and beans on HM WM bread (HEB), LF marg (0.5syns)
L - veggie enchilada (6syns for tortilla), cheese (HEA), veg (3syns for oil), sour cream (1.5syns), salad, rice
D - stirfry veg, noodles, sauce (4.5syns)
Snacks - banana, cheese (HEA), dried apricots (HEB)
Drinks - soda water and blackcurrent, squash, water,
Total syns = 15
I have 10 syns that I saved from yesterday for today's lunch so if I fancy some choc/mousse/crisps later I can. I love SW

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good day, we have been back up to the yorkshire dales and done a 7.5 mile walk today, stopped at harvester on the way home for food and I tried to be good.
So today I have had:
B: Activia FF vanilla yogurt with frozen berries
L: Egg and smoked ham on 2oz wholemeal roll (HEB), Banana and grapesHarvester salad bar with a small wholemeal roll (will count as 6 syns), I kept away from the pasta and potato salad and the like!, had beetroot, carrot, toms, lettuce, pineapple, cucumber, red cabbage, green and broad beans and low fat vinagrette (2 syns, maybe? it said 40 cals), then for main course I had simply chicken, flame grilled chicken breast with peas and a jacket potato, no butter, unlimited diet coke.
Just had a strawb cheesecake muller (1 syn) so I make that around 9 syns today, does that sound like I have stayed on plan?
Going to my brothers for a barbecue tomorrow afternoon, I am sure it will all be burgers and sausages though (and not SW friendly ones at that) so will have to go for a run in the morning to offset some of the damage I guessAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

Woo hoo well done you! I hope they were not too expensive as youll be needing a 12 soon enough
Thanks! No not too bad £26 - a holiday treat! Smart enough style for work too:
http://www.mandco.com/cropped/button-denim-crop-trouser/invt/1141619denim/
It's the only size 14 I can get in so far, I can just about get in a size 14 maxi denim skirt I brought at start of my diet 6 months ago.
I'm still wearing my next size 16 jeans - I'm more of a size 15 but they dont sell them!
Cant ever see me being a 12 but you never know! A 14 in everything would be fab. I'm 5 foot 10 and whats known as a large build/frame. Think I'll always be a bigger size in tops than jeans.
I've given any trousers/jeans over a 16 to charity but still wear tops from a size 16 to a 20!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Only 1 more pound and I will have lost 3 stone!I never dreamt when I started this way of eating that I would be so successful - in 15 weeks I have shed more than I have managed in the last 5 years
If anyone is reading this thread with a view to starting a diet then get the books and give it a go - you will succeed
If anyone is interested I do original and green days. 2 original and 5 green. I do have to say that I am still amazed at Quorn minces ability to absorb and neutralise any flavour added to itMags - who loves shopping0 -
Morning all.
well done some great losses! Wooo !! well done you pack of losers
Well I did another sneaky weigh in in the afternoon (around 1, when I usually do it) and it showed a 2lbn gain not a 3lb. Anyway I ate less than anticipated yesterday so that was good.
Not really sure what were doing today, I was thinking EE but not sure if it might even be a red!
So far have had a yog and cereal HEB: we have chicken left over that has to have something done with it, along with leftover mince as well. I was thinking of doing an oriental type hot soup ( I have pak choi and beansprouts on thier way out) with the chicken and a couple of portions of chicken and sweetcorn soup as well. the mince i was thinking of making some sort of sheekh type kebab with them.
Hmm will ponder. I think it will end up being an EE though, as I want baked beans with my brekkie! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Morning all! I'm at work at the minute :-( i'm all finished and ready to go home but I'm waiting for someone to reply to an email first.....very annoyed!!! I'm hoping to get out for a walk today but I have uni work to do to so I need to get my head down and get on with it!!
I think I'll go with EE today:
Brekkie - had a small banana so far, will get more fruit and yogurt when I get home.
Lunch - ? Maybe a pitta pizza (HEA&B) & salad
Tea - salmon, salad, new potatoes, beetroot salad.
i'm going to start to look like a salad soon!!!0
