Hey everyone
Well you've all bee chatty today! What wonderful weather it is!
Well I was out in town for a lot longer than I thought and ended up totally starving as I didnt have the eggs and toast before I went, jsut the yog & blueberries.
Went to "tossed" the salad place and was a bit daft really buying this salad. they have the bases ( either lettuce/ couscous/ brown rice/ noodles -I had brown rice. Then added chicken, beans and onion. Tossed with fat free chilli and lime dressing. It was RUBBISH. AND 4.50! We are in the wrong game ladies, Im sure I can make food at least as boring as that! the dressing tasted of nothing it was just like eating er, brown rice. Ive fallen foul of thier mutton stew before (GAK) Anyway. Rant over
Had snack a jacks (5) also not that nice - chilli flavour. Are salt & vinegar square crisps also 5? I couldn't remember. had a WW mini ice cream stick when I got back.
Can I ask- is frozen fat free yogurt free on EE? I saw a place called SNOG which does fat free frozen yog with bluberries strawbs etc ( natural not processed etc) Id have thought it would be free... maybe it has loads of sugar in? I dont think so though when Ive had it before its never tastes "sweet"... Anyone know? Wish there was a frozen muller shopthe toffee one would be great Mr Whippy style!
So im starving now and going to have my 2 HEBs - pagens & cottage cheese and maybe a weetabix bar or cereal and a cuppa in a bit.
Will have 5.5 syn kitkat later. Wish Id not had them snack a jacks now as I fancy one of the WW lemon merangue pie things I bought the other day. Ho Hum.
Hope everyones well ! x:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I don't know about the yogurt they sell there but we had a relief consultant last week and she told us about someone who was happily eating loads of FF yogurt from Lidl and then found out it had loads of syns!
WI today and I'd put on 3 lbs:( It was only to be expected after last weekend. I do wish there was somewhere foolproof for buying SW food when out. I'm away from tomorrow until Tuesday. I'll have hotel breakfast which can be OK. Restaurant dinners which will be variable but that'll be largely my choice. Lunchtime I'll be out and about. I was thinking M&S, Pret or Subway for a salad and go easy on the dressing. Any ideas, ladies??
EE today:
B: kippers, HEB toast, tea with HEA mil
L: ham & tomato sandwich, bowl of red berriesliver & onions, swede mash, cauli and cabbage
Snacks: if I need one I'll raid the huge roast veg pasta salad that I've made for tomorrow's journey;)0 -
Afternoon all!
Still feeling bloated and a bit round IYKWIM.
I have had an OK day so far....
Breakfast - Oaty bar (B choice)
Mid Morning - banana
Lunch - pasta and pesto (1 syn), raspberries, grapes and blackberries
Snack - Ryvita minis (B choice)
Tea - not sure yet but probably 3 egg cheese omelette (A choice) and beans
So that's ...
2 B choices
1 A choice
1 syn so far
Syns for after tea will maybe include a Vimto lolly (2 syns) and maybe a biccy?
We'll see....
Oh, and hello to all the new posters:beer:0 -

Oh I totally know what you mean. The suggestions I have are as follows:
Jacket potato and beans- the caff choice Beans on toast ( just one WM slice
Chippy fish batter removed -chippy choice 0 syns
You could go to a salad bar like the one I went to, there was no syns in that I didnt think! ( ie no additives)
Sushi is 1 syn per piece I think ( I cant stand it but there you are)
Subway salads are free - I think i read the onion dressing is low syn - minimins is a good place
Nandos- I have the chicken all skin removed, the macho peas and the savory rice, and call that 3 syns
M&S do some salads that are 2 for 3.00. There is one called Fireburst salad which is black rice/carropt/ pepper and I love this, I think its better without the dressing personally. They also do one called rainbow salad which I got yesterday, few wheatberries, rocket, edemame beans, pepper, carrot etc. I thought that was nice.
Sometimes Ive been known to get one of the sainsburys on the shelf couscous that is about 3 syns and get some chicken breast or something for with it.
I would love to know about these Pret type pots with miso soup/ noodles and veg in? Anyone know how many syns they are?
Fruit salad obviously!
The other day I went to a chinese cafe type place and had chicken & veg in oyster sauce on boiled rie for the same price as a sandwich and only 5.5 syns! thats my fave choice really :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
