Hi ladies, a bit late for 'easter countdown' but i hope you all dont mind if i join you?
I have spent the last 4 weeks reading all of this thread and i am blown away by your losses, your support and the fact you all dont mind saying you have had a bad day
I joined sw 4 weeks ago and i cannot believe that i am loosing weight when never being hungry and eating such yummy stuff, not to mention the fact i feel so bloody good!
My wl so far has been 4.5lb, 1.5lb. 1.5lb and yesterday i lost a massive 5.5lb (think its my bodies way of saying thanks for all the healthy foods i am filling it with!)
So, fingers crossed i will hit my 1st mark next week.
Its taken me ages to get my head around it all, and i am still not there yet lol. I am just doin EE ATM until i really get to grips with it then i may venture to red and green if the mood takes me.
Anyway, just thought i would say hello, and hope you dont mind if i join this wonderful thread
oh ETA can i just ask... do the alpen light choc and fudge bars really count as a healthy extra??? I will be in heaven if they do! I have some but i cant believe that they are lol0 -
First of all, welcome to the thread. I don't post often but always read the thread.
To answer you question, all flavours of Alpen lights, including the choc and fudge bars, are 2 for HEB. I agree with you that they are the best of all the flavours.

Helppppppp!!!
I am a TOTAL chocolate/ice cream addict and I fly through the day sticking to SW, but I HAVE to have something sweet after dinner and fruit/meringues don't cut it so I end up blowing the whole day!
Does anyone have any good recipes for desserts that include chocolatey sort of stuff? Fruit and meringue is all very good and well but it's definitely a different type of "sweetness" (ie the good kind!) and it just doesn't help!! I've tried the lemon cous cous cake but again, just doesn't do it0 -

I pop it in the freezer as i start to make dinner and about 2hrs later have it as my treat.. healthy chocolate ice creamMy mum does this also so i stole it from her, its so good the kids want it now after meals as well

Hey susiebear, you can be forgiven drinking that much as strictly speaking it's not really a school night at the mo!!
Welcome brians daughter, you have been doing SW same time as me, I'm glad you are getting your head around it.
Nessie, thank you so much for those scrummy recipes, I am also a dessert girl and fruit and yogurts are coming out of my ears now so I need something else, these recipes will do the trick I think (thaat's if i can limit myself to one slice tho) Although, I do have dime bars and curly wurlys as they are 6-7 syns and definitely worth it imo.
Ok, so today is my WI at group tonight, hoping desperately to get my stone award finally after my first 4 weeks on plan.
Been for an 8 mile run this morning in the sun which was fab, food wise I'm a bit uninspired today, I have had a couple of yogurts and fruit and some SW bacon and red onion quiche for my lunch, not sure what I'm having for tea, doing pizza for the kids so will prob have either omelette and beans when I'm back from group or I might have a jacket spud with tuna plus salad, not sure yet.Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00
