WW bread- toast. It is like a slice of air I wont be buying this one again !

I know you're at target lynz so can 'afford' some different bread. I use the WW bread simply because I can have three slices for a HEB. I find it's best lightly toasted to give it 'body' then it makes a nice chewy sandwich plus I can have a slice toasted dry to eat with my breakfast. I know exactly what you mean about it disappearing when you put beans on it.

    Evening everyone
I nearly didn't go to get weighed tonight as I have been on holiday and thought that I might have put on weight. However, delighted to learn that I had lost 4 1/2lb,
    Congratulations :j
I bet your really chuffed, what do you think helped with the loss? did you do lots of exercise whilst there, or just not eat as much?

    xxxx

s4ammy, that's fantastic. You must have been soooo good on your holiday. I wish I could say the same:o

I've been very strictly back on EE plan today with plenty of superfrees:

B: NAS squash, boiled eggs, toast, apple, tea with HEA milk
L: marmite sandwich, bowl of red berries with sweetener
D: huge beef stir-fry with golden rice
Snack: small jacket with ham and pickled beetroot

WI tomorrow, hoping for minimal damage.

Morning all. I had lost 1lb at WI last night. Pretty happy with that with it being *week too! 1 more pound to go to target! I can't get to my normal class next week as we're out for a meal but there's one the next night I can go to so that' the plan! Hopefully it'll stop me being too naughty when we have the meal out too!!

I had my final fitting of my wedding dress last night and it fits perfectly! I'd like to lose that last pound to get to target though and another 1 or 2 extra would be nice so I can relax and eat what I like on holiday and still come back and not be too far away from target!

    Today is EE:

    Brekkie -Porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - leftover cod and chorizo stew (which has leaked all over my lunch bag and my desk and made everything stink of fish!! I just hope it hasn't leaked onto the car seat on the way here too! Oh and its 2 syns!), mash, veggies, beetroot salad (wierd combo but it needs using up!), grapes
Tea - chicken, roast veggies, potatoes, cauliflower cheese (need to calculate syns), yogurt
Snacks - I have fruit if I need it.

I'll be paying a visit to the market at lunch time so hopefully I'll then have enough fruit and salad etc for a few SE days.

    Morning all

Yes Maman, I only had the two slices as well yesterday! I actoually bought it as it was 10p cheaper than the usual mini wholemeal one I get (hovis I think) As i put it in the toaster I could feel it almost floating away out of my hands :D I bet its terrible after freezing- is it?

well after my binge yesterday Im back on it and doing a v speedy EE hopefully!

    Blueberries& yog +
    2x eggs, beans, mushrooms & 2x WW toast (HEB1)
Might pop into town for a bit and will be good (diet cokes all round lol) and going into chinatown to get some nice exotic veggies!
No doubt I will be starvers when I get back so strawbs & HEB2 Cereal
Then dinner will be Chicken stir fry consisting of chicken, beansprouts, onion, carrot, pepper, and if I get pak choi/bamboo shoot/ water chestnut or whatever that will go in ( 2 for the sauce)

Hope everyone has a better day than I did yesterday xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Evening all, and it's a beautiful one here!
I've had a good day today, especially as the burger king lunch from work was cancelled so i got to save some syns and eat healthily!
So today is green as usual:
Porridge and blueberries, ryvita and banana (HEB)
salad, granary roll (HEB) low fat cottage cheese
Another roll cos I was hungry (6)
    3 nice biscuits (6)
    Milk in coffee (HEA)
and I've got SW chips, quorn sausages and beans on the go ready for dinner.
    = 2 HEB, 1 HEA and 12 syns

    Annie,

You do know that Granary rolls/bread is not a healthy extra?

Its got nuts in it and probably not enough fibre to be a healthy extra!

You need to get Wholemeal, which is different.

    Morning all...

Well done to all the losers.. :T

I'm quite excited as I've just completed a survey for a new product from Ryvita, its wholemeal rye bread and only 50 calories a slice apparently(is this the same sort of calories as the WW stuff?). High in fibre, low in fat... i'm hoping it falls into the Slimming World HEB scheme as I love rye bread.. Anyone else done the survey (think it was either Mysurveys or Valued Opinions)

Today has started off badly for me, i forgot my breakfast to bring to work :( i'm not going to let it derail the day though so i've improvised with an apple and an oaty bar. Now i just have to snack on ryvita if i'm peckish as I have no snacks with me!

Good luck for the day everyone xx

    afternoon All

well Im just back from Physio (not what I needed when Im only just feeling better from the poorly mush :p)

Had quite a lovely day food wise yesterday

lunch of fruit salad, pineapple, mango & strawbs :)

and for tea I managed a chicken stir fry with lots of garlic & ginger.....good job I'm allowed to brush my teeth again eh :rotfl:

well I say 'stir fry' in the loosest sense of the word.....the veggies were more like 'broiled' and quite soggy as I didnt think crunchy stuff would be a good idea just yet ;)

WI tonight so Im hoping for a decent loss
    * week has decided not to visit yet - typical!!! :( so I'm feeling all bloaty and could kill for a malteser bunny......or anything chocolatey really

Righteo, Im going to get a bit of lunch and sit on the balcony with it I think, Its a lovely day again. Tuna _pale_ lettuce, onion HEB pitta 0.5 xtra light mayo
  • I know I should know this, but you know how quark seperates when heated?

Well I'm making vichywotsit soup (a la leek & potato but cold) and fancy this blended in when the soup is cooled. Will it blend in to make the beautifully creamy texture I am dreaming of, or will it sort of... blob? :rotfl:

Shh don't tell anyone, but I'm thinking of combining Paul with SW. Any thoughts on if this would work ok, or be a spectacularly bad idea? Basically eating SW free food and healthy extras, but with paul's ideas of eating slowly and only when hungry until you're full. If I really want something which would be outside of SW I'll use syns or be flexible on syns, as long as it doesn't become a regular thing!

I'm also getting a feel for if I would cope or benefit from cutting right down, or even out on sugar. I have been getting excited about muller rice since doing Paul, but I've really noticed when I have one that's my danger time to go off on one and raid the kitchen :o. Its the only sweet thing I am tending to eat recently, so I'm putting it down to sugar/sweetener. I don't consciously eat sweetner if I can help it, so switching isn't an option. I'm not eating chocolate and STILL not missing it, and what with studying so hard that the pub isn't an option, alcohol will be a rare treat too.

I'm mainly tempted to try this combination because of MrsM. I think its pretty similar to what you've done (cut out choccy and crisps, eating to nourish your body, in touch with appetite and satiety...) and we all know how brilliantly you've done! :kisses3: 9 stone off? Don't mind if I do ;)

Well done to all you losers :j

Yesterday was EE, it went like this:

    B: strawb muller & banana
L: HM quiche & loads of salad HEA
T: HM chicken curry & rice (4 for curry sauce)
Pub: 6 large brandys & diet coke (30):eek::eek:
After pub munchies: Beans on toast (HEB) & strawberries

Didnt intend on drinking that much, but I did and boy am I feeling the affects now :rotfl:
I did save the syns up though, but even so, 12 units of alcohol on a school night is not good
