Hi flat eric, I was self sabotaging a lot until I just threw it all away and took some time off. I was horrfied how mcuh I put on so quickly through eating pure junk.
Alcohol to me seems a bit like a waste of syns unless I was going out for the night, could you drink less often?
I am noticing that you are also "wasting" syns on foods that can be made for little or no sysn ie ainsley couscous is 0.5 for the whole packet ( spiced one, cant remember the name now) and I usually have half a pack for salad lunch so dont count the 0.25 syn, I wouldnt have chilli sauce but make a free yoghurt sauce and HM free coleslaw - the naan may have been balanced out then!
It is a bit of a hassle to be preparing though, I made a lovely HM free salsa but it took a while compared to how long it took to eat! Would have been much easier to buy but syns so I should make my own in future. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Is there much diference between the two?? I know sw calls for extra lean but if I drained the fat off lean mince super super well as it's cooking would this be ok??
My mum bless her has bought me two big packs of lean mince that were on offer and I'd hate not to be able to use them because they weren't extra lean!! Not very mse! Plus I'm really skint this week so it would be a big boost to the budget as there is enough there for at least 4 meals for myself and dd!!
Had a good first week on sw (-6 :j!!) and hoping to do well this week so don't want to b*gger it up!!
Thanks in advance!

Evening all
I'm after your help. (pretty please with a cherry on top)
Please can anyone offer me any advice or tips on how to get me back on track ? How can I stop abusing my syns - i.e having my WEEKLY syn allowance DAILY? How can I get rid of the stone that i am now carrying ???
any thoughts or tips gratefully received - thank you xxx
I have a really sweet toothif I start on any syns 'as a treat' too early in the day then im on a slippery slope. So right at the start I gave myself an 8pm curfew this way I knew I had a little choccy something to look forward to at the end of the day when I was settling down to watch telly
. I find this way really works for me.....and I appreciate my treats a lot more now too!
Ive yet to master this art when faced with a weekend away though:rotfl:

If I cant get extra lean mince, Ive dry fried it - then rinsed it off in boiling water to get rid of any remaining fat.....then carried on cooking as normal;). It seems a waste to throw it away :money:0 -
Well Ive made my experimental spicy fish kebabs for the 2nd time today......(and as a FISH HATER I can recommend them
:rotfl:)
Ive put the recipe on the recipe thread if anyone is interested0 -

Goal: lose 7lbs0 -
Morning all! Well done to all losers, there's been some fab losses reported over the last few days!! ANd extra special congrats to MrsM, you're brilliant!!!
Dizzy, I think I might give your fish recipe a try this week, I've planned fish with SW chips and mushy peas later in the week but I might try your recipe instead for a change.
I had a very flexi day on saturday! We ate out for both lunch (pizza express!!) and tea (pie and chips in the pub as well as a naughty starter!) and also had a couple of millies cookies.....ooops!! Only god thing is, I was straight back on plan yesterday, not so long ago one bad day was enough to throw me off track for the rest of the week! I had 2 walks yesterday, about 2.5hours in total so hopefully that'll make up for some of it!!
Today is a success express day:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banan, mixed berries
Lunch - sort of dynorod soup (mostly SF), pitta (HEB) filled with bacon, lettuce, toms, cuc with extra toms and cuc on the side, mayo (2), grapes, yogurt, jelly (0.5)
Tea - chicken with a polenta coating (HEA as it has parmesan in it), sw chips, HM coleslaw (1), HM salsa, salad
Snacks - fruit
That uses 3.5 syns, I had intended having a pitta with tea for 6 syns but I don't eat much bread and I had pizza on sat and a WM roll yesterday and my tummy feels horrible so I think the 1 pitta at lunch will be enough or I'll be suffering tomorrow!0 -
hi gang
can anyone tell me, which brand wholemeal pitta are HEB? OH seems interested in them for lunch? are they co-op?
Ok not sure what is happening today Im eaither meeting a freind in a v non SW place for ahem- flexi or im coming home?
I am going to sort of wing it today and call this a red day ( I have never had one of these before)
B-Strawbs, banana and yog
S- 2x alpen lite
L- I might go to nandos and have a chicken salad as I have a voucher.... with diet coke of course
and dinner will be either:
Going out (=synsville)
Coming home= um Quorn bites 1.5 salad 1.5
HEB all bran/ Alpen lite
Then plenty syns left for evening treats. Not sure if i am going out later hence the upside down plan.
Hope everyone has a good day xx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Morning peeps
did well yesterday and was feeling full for most of it, i didn`t manage to eat the tuna as i was too full
The plan has changed for today as i forgot that DH was away so i don`t need to feed him too. I had planned on a red day and was going to make a curry in the sc but i shall do that for tomorrow instead as he will be back home tomorrow night.
Green day again today using left over bits and bobs.
Brekkie - Porridge & jam 1.5 syns
Dinner - Lentil & veg soup
Tea - Leftsover egg fried rice from yesterday & cauliflower cheese HEB1 & 2 syns for the oil
Snacks are satsumas, yogurt, quavers 5 syns and I`ve also got the tuna and 1 slice of wm toast if i need it 4 syns.
I didn`t eat the tuna yesterday but a had a few cheese crackers later which are 1 syn each so all in all not a bad day. 12 and a half syns planned and i shall use the tuna as a HEB2 i think and not syn it this would take the syns to 10 and a half and then i can have a shot of voddie before bed later.
Why does everyone at w*rk seem to have developed an interest in my food  The only reason that i can think of is because yesterday i was actually seen eating an apple - unheard of for me as its usually a bar of choccy :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
