;)

Thanks for that Dizzy
I am sticking like sh*t to a blanket to the plan
I do believe in the 'one shot' theory. Lots of weight loss plans work brilliantly when you first start but as you go along and start to 'tweak' the plan it starts to loose its effectiveness and you can start to undo all the hard work you have done in the past even to the tune of gaining.
Food abuse can occur in any plan and when you get used to it you find yourself adding things in convincing yourself that you know what you are doing but really you are just sabotaging your efforts.
My one treat of the week is setting in the fridge as we speak. Its a Jelly Muller with fruit added to it. It will make 4 servings for only 1 syn for the whole thing. Its sweet and decadent and blooming lush!
I have been there and done that with low carb. I lost 9 stone but sadly I had learned all the dodges and tweaks over the years and it was time for a change - thank you Slimming World for my second chance - I am going to take it and run with it for as long as I canMags - who loves shopping0 -
Well done MrsM :j:j - wish I was as dedicated as you!!
I've just made the smash pizza - not quite sure what I make of it. It's not like real pizza, but I guess it hits the spots sorta. Although I think in future I'd rather syn a mini pizza base and have a smaller pizza but the real thing. But it's ok for when you have no syns left or don't want to use 11 on a base!
Green day (will update later)
B - SW veggie fry up - 2 x quorn sausages, egg fried in frylight, sauted potatoes, beans, brown sauce (1syn)
L - Smash pizza - smash, frylight, tinned toms, onions, garlic, peppers, chillis, cheese (HEA and HEB)
D -
Snacks - pear, FF yog, strawberries, jelly (0.5syns), LF creme fraiche (1.5syns), merange nest (3.5syns), mugshot
Drinks - coffee (skimmed milk = HEA), water, squash
Total syns = 6.5
Not sure what to have for dinner yet, maybe a curry

Sorry I wasn't very clear there, didn't mean yog was superfree just that it was good to have either on its own or with fruit as a filling snack. I knew what I meant :rotfl:.
Well done MrsM fantastic overall loss, you are such an inspiration :T.
Well done all you losers :A
Wi today and STS again woo hoo, 2 weeks running is amazing. I seem to have found the right combination of 'good' foods as well as a few 'naughty' foods to help maintain target :rotfl:. I just hope all the stress I'm under at the moment doesn't have an adverse effect weight wise.
The interveiws for new Head Teacher have clashed with sons cup final rugby match, its 6pm kick off so he has to be there for 5pm and theres no way we'll be finished in time so I am guttered. Been quite tearful thinking about it as son has said he's disappointed I won't be there, hubby will be but I haven't seen him play since he started college as all games are during the day [I'm at work]. Really regretting being school Governor.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I kind of knew you knew, TIE, but wanted to clarify for the gal who made the original inquiry, just in case
There are a few options re the Rugby/Interview clash:- Speak fast, and if the interviewees hesitate make that "hurry up" gesture with your hand.
- arrange for an "urgent" phone message necessitating your return home asap
- fix up a webcam at the field and a little screen at your place at the interview table
- stage a dramatic collapse between interviews
- take something out of the team coach engine, thus preventing it leaving until you are ready to join
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I know I asked yesterday but no-one seems to have replied yet - can someone please check the syns for Natural Confectionary Comany's Jelly Snakes? They don't appear in my Food Directory.
Thanks

Hello, I hope you don't mind if I join in? I'm doing sw on my own at home, I can't afford to go to the meetings and I prefer doing it this way. I lost 3 lbs in the first week, then another one and am hoping to have got rid of another 2 when I weigh on Tueday morning.
I always do green days as I'm vegetarian almost vegan so I tend to miss out the A choices as I'm not keen on soya milk.
Today I've had:
porridge made with water, blueberries, ryvita and a banana (HB)
3 ryvita with tomato and cucumber
2 apples
3 Linda McCartney sausages (6 syns) jacket potato and baked beans
melon
and lots of fizzy water to drink.
I've got 5 stone to lose, but my initial target is to get into the next stone down, I need to lose 4 lbs to get there!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Hello, I'm vegan and find it's a good plan for the vegan lifestyle/diet.
Have you tried rice, oat milk? I have some soya cheese but not keen on a lot of them. I had to remember at first to add the superfrees - lots of salads, veggies and fruits for snacks.
I find I don't lose as much if I miss A/B healthy options,
I've lost nearly 2.5 stone since last Sept, another 2 - 2.5 to go I think - hoping to get there by the summer:)Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Hi everyone
I lost 16lb the end of last year and have managed to keep it off despite letting things go. It is now time to get back on track.
The problem I have is doing slimming world on a budget. My shopping budget has got to come down so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
All this meat, fresh veg and fruit can be expensive.
Thanks

Hi, Sue the only thing I can suggest is are you using a market fro your fruit and veg? I have been buying sainsburys basic frozen berries at a £1 a bag and will also try frozen spinach this week for the first time. I have found some seeds and will start growing my salad leaves in the next few weeks and this should start saving us a bomb. ( rocket etc is expensive!)
Have had a good EE so far today:
Breakfast, mango banana and yog
Lunch one toast ( 1/2 heb, beans mushrooms 2x bacon 2x egg
tea and alpen lite (heb 1/2) skimmed milk in tea- hea
Dinner- Spanish chicken and p bravas with rocket on the side
Pud will be pinapple and papaya with a splash of WW yog and some foxes party rings- are these 4 syns for the mini bags or more- anyone ,know? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
