1.5lbs off for me this morning so its biggrin.gif's all round tongue.gif

well done on the losses :T-and well done on your shiney CRANKY :T

Right then -let normal service resume biggrin.gif

Im planning a success express day today that should look like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fresh pineapple
    • melon
    • strawberries
    • orange
    • roast chicken
    • mashed potato/swede (1) -for butter
    • carrots
    • cabbage
    • cauliflower
    • peas
    • sweetcorn
    • gravy (1)
    • grapefruit
    • 3 ryvita (B)
    • ham
    • lettuce
    • cucumber
    • tomato
    • peppers
    • tickled cabbage
    • tickled beetroot
    • tickled onions
    • activia (2.5)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • fibre plus (B)
Now I make that 2A+B and 4.5syns - so I will see if I need anything else... I may make an iced coffee .. we will see wink.gif

AlisonT -I ordered the 30day shred and a few others of Jillian Michaels ones yesterday -I have heard that the shred one is a corker -so I may need gas n air to even start it..but I will try *gulp* :rotfl:
ooohh on the takeaway front.... (bit late now) -BUT -don't forget to weigh the portions as I know quite a few people on minimins found that often the take away cartons are much heavier than the portion sizes given in the syns books.. would hate for anyone to be eating more without realising it.

Right I will get off and get some bread under way for hubby and then get my brekkie,,,
Have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work!!!

I've just started with SW and have a fair way to go. I get a bit stuck for lunches as I work full time and have no access to a fridge or cooker.

Has anybody got any lunchtime suggestions - I have a cool bag to keep the food from getting too warm. Up till now I've been taking sandwiches and a yogurt but all that has to change ..........

This is where I struggle too. I used to eat so much bread - toast for brekkie, sandwich for lunch and more in the evening if I felt peckish.

For work lunches I find I have to be organised and make something the night before/ or take leftovers. If you google 'slimming world quiche' there's loads of variations depending on which plan you do and most of them are syn free. Also things like rice salad are surprisingly filling. I take yoghurt too, but often put it in a container with different fruit chopped up (pineapple and strawberries are my fave).

Good luck on the plan! :)

For lunch Im having ( and used to have prior to my break ;)

Superfree type soup ( in a flask if you have no access to micro) this week butternut squash and ginger- might have bread roll with it

Ainsley couscous crammed with chopped veggies and bits of chicken or ham etc-

Couscous frittas, superfree onion bhajis etc- the chickpeas dhal bake, superfree quiches, spanish omelettes/ frittatas

Stew or any type of lowsyn leftovers in a foodflask eg chilli/ bolonaise/

Chopped leafy salad with meat/ HM coleslaw etc
    pasta salads?

Rice salad, I made this the other day http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Mexican-Bean-and-Rice-Salad/Detail.aspx I think to take to work woud be good to have a dressing - it was slightly dry, but the concept and flavour was nice - although you shouldnt really leave cooked rice out at room temp.... maybe the cool bag would help here...

Alpen lites or other bars as HEB Or ryvita or other cracker bread with FF cottage cheese and salads etc

Of course you can stil have your yog with some fruit of course lol

    HTHS

I've been doing well all week until yesterday :(

I had a SW 'fried' brekkie of a couple of quorn sausages, toms, mushrooms, 2 eggs and beans, followed by some fresh fruit and a mullerlight. That was it until the evening when I ordered chinese for us as a treat, so me and my two children shared chicken chow mein, lemon chicken with a sweet and sour sauce, fried(!) rice and a portion of chips. I did have a bit of everything but to be honest I also ate most of the lemon chicken myself as the kids didn't like it, although I didn't eat much sauce at all. Then I have to confess I ate 10/11 cadburys Roses

What can I do to limit the damage? I really want to lost this week and I didn't eat anything else apart from tasting the scanbran ginger cake I made from the SW website - there was only one word for it - DISGUSTING! Ewwww, it was awful - and I really wanted to like it lol.

Any advice about what to do would be great, I texted my consultant but no reply :(

    Papooseue,

    All you can do is:
    Eat lots of superfree
    Stick to plan
I went over last night as I had extra kitkat but you know what there is no point in getting down over it, just get on the wagon today :)

Thanks for the advice :) I will do just that - my problem is that I tend to panic if something like this happens, which only leads to more disaster in the end. I am trying to tell myself that it's not the end of the world if you have a day like that, after all life does tend to get in the way of the best plans lol.

    Thanks xx
