    Afternoon all

dizzy - I had amoxicilin for an abscess few weeks back, and they kicked in after 2 days and I felt sooo much better. Hope it sorts itself out soon

Well very pleased when I did WI this morning, I've lost 2lbs this week :j:j that's despite it being * week, and my off plan night at Harvester :D Also down to the next stone bracket which is a huge psychological boost.

I'm going to go slightly over my syns tonight as a treat, I'd planned my yummy tea, but really wanted an ice cream too so will be 3syns over. Think that's ok for WI day ;)

    Green day:

B - oats (HEB), FF yog
L - salad, HB egg, raspberries
    D - 2 x tortillas (12syns), SF veggie chilli, lettuce, sour cream (3syns), cheese (2 x HEA, HEB)
Snacks - banana, mini ice cream (3syns), pineapple.
    Drinks - water, squash

    Total syns = 18

    Hello,

DIZZY: Hope the deaf Greek works his magic on your mouth and the anti bs get going quickly.

SUZIE: Glad the trousers held - good job you can sew, if that was me I wouldn't have a clue, I hate sewing. My dear Mum used to say that I must have been hit with a needle as a kid!!!!

I have got to admit that the thought of yet another side-effect to the Dynorod soup fills me with dread (specially now I might have to sew). DIZZY you have a lot to answer for.

Well done FLUTTERBY - it 's great when you get down into the next stone range isn't it?

    QUERY: EE or GREEN day?

BREAKFAST: Scrambled egg, grilled toms 1 scan bran (1)

    Banana, 10 grapes

LUNCH: Curry soup, meringue (2.1/2) FF yoghurt and strawberries

    Fibre plus bar (HEB), Banana

DINNER: Curry soup, new potatoes, spinach

HEA is taken up with milk in tea (3 mugs so far) so may have a drop later

I'm just wondering if there are enough superfrees in the curry soup to qualify for a EE day. If you think my day should be green then I will have another Fibre plus or Hi fi bar.

    Thanks. xx

    Hello
I've managed another day today and have laso emailed my mum to tell her that she doesn't need to 'fatten me up' when I go to visit next week.. at nearly 14 and a half stone I'm fat enough already thanks very much!! I half expected her to take offence because she loves to cook and sees my visits as her chance to look after me, but she was fine.
So, today was green for me:
Porridge made with water, blueberries (HEB)
Ryvita to make up the HEB from oats, slice of cheese (HEA)
    Beans on toast (HEB)
2 apples, banana, grapefruit, grapes as snacks
Milk in tea and coffee (HEA)
and tonight will be quorn chilli with either rice or jacket potato, havent decided yet.

And I even left the yogurt I took to work for pudding because I wasn't hungry.
Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.

Why not take mum a SW cookbook and ask her to try some of the recipes, - kill two birds with one stone so to speak - win win situation. Enjoy your visit. x

Mrs M, you are such an inspiration! Sorry if you've already explained (I've been off line for a while) but what is this carb curfew that you are doing so well with?

That's a really good idea, my mum is however very eccentric and stubborn and I have a feeling she might throw it at me if I did that :rotfl::rotfl:I'm going to try the 'wow your vegetables from the allotment are amazing please can I have some more' angle. Even though it's not her that does the allotment but my step dad....

Hi, I like the sound of your mum - although a hit with one of the SW books would come a bit sharp! Good luck with the 'amazing allotment veg' x

:mad::mad: Chuffing * "arrived" and I feel like death!! I'm cold, feel sick, got v bad stomach cramps, headache, neckache and feeling very sorry for myself!!:o

Have done nothing all day as I've been laying on the sofa with a hot water bottle. It's my week off work and I hate wasting it so I'm seriously fed up:(! Plus I just want to EAT:eek:!!! Finding it really hard not to just shovel food in my face. I put 3lbs on last week on holiday so I have to be super good! I really want greasy chip shop chips and chocolate and don't think healthy versions will work!!

Once I've picked dd up from school (40 minute walk so trying to get some excercise in even though I don't feel like it!) I might just put my jamas on and go back to bed!!

    Anyway, whinge over!! :o:o:o

    Anna x

This makes me realise I'm not the only one going through hell with * week. Since I hit my 40's each month seems worse than the previous. My Dr [very down to earth woman]] said she knew from experience that your 40's are sh*t . Just been through this months and know exactly how you feel, choc cravings from hell and just starving all the time so you have my sympathy :o.

Hope you're pain free soon Dizzy.

Still feeling rough [still not 'been' :(] had more movicol today. Can't bear to WI either, I know I should but don't want to see a big gain due to being 'bunged up'. Will Wi tomorrow come what may :o.

    Food today:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - cous cous fritta, beans, bbq sauce [1]
T - 2x jacket spuds, either beans or spaggy hoops, mushrooms, onions, toms, cheese [a], bbq sauce [1]
Snacks - cous cous frittas, pineapple, melon, onken, spoon of mushy peas while cooking family tea :D, few crumbs of flapjacks when making them :o [1]
    Syns - 3
Need another HEb so may have weetabix later with hot water & splash milk from breakfast HEa as not had it all yet.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Evening all.
Had a really busy day with not much time to eat until I got home so not very good food wise - could have done with more food to stop me starving to death!

Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
Lunch - banana, grapes, strawberries (no time for Mugshot thing)
Dinner - quorn crispy fillet (3 syns), beetroot, cucumber, pickled onions, new potatoes, boiled egg, tomato ketchup (1 syn), 3 babybel lights (A choice)
Snacks - packet of ryvita minis (B choice)

Will probably have a Vimto lolly (2 syns) later making it 6 syns altogether (trying to compensate for the Saturday meal out before WI tomorrow!)

Hope everyone has had a skinny day and that Dizzy's teeth feel better soon.
