LYNZ - Sorry to be a pain but do you think I should have some of the curry soup or leave it now. I'm not very hungry and thought I would have some more fruit later if I get the nibbles. Does it matter much if I missed lunch (I never usually miss meals, it's just been one of those days) x

Hun you are not a pain :D so stop apologising. wouldnt be on this site if I didnt want to help :p

Personally, I would say, if you are not hungry, dont eat. You dont need it, so dont. However, if you are peckish why not eat something free or superfree? I dont think that would be classed as "missing a meal" much really, as some people ( like me) tend to have fruit for break, then a more substantial meal ( eggs and salmon) for lunch. IMO i guess it doesnt matter when you eat what, if you want to have jacket potato for breakfast and a fruit salad for dinner have it which way you like!

So I think what im saying is, if you are hungry go ahead, if not, save it for tomorrow, i'm sure it will freeze well as well if it has made loads so it wont go to waste. :D

Thanks Lynz - I normally do eat what I want, whatever mealtime it is so that's fine. I wont have the soup then and I'll have fruit later if the urge takes me. That's two EE days done now and I think I might get to like them. xx

I like them as it seems a bit more normal although in saying that I can never really think of what to have on a red day apart from chicken salad or steak salad lol! I might try them at some point, although I think im resistant as it reminds me of my ill fated efforts with atkins :D where my breath stank and I didnt go to do a no 2 for about a month lol

I know exactly what you mean, I did lose a couple of stone with Atkins but like you my breath stank and I didn't like testing for keytones - wasn't very dignified was it? (can't remember a lack of No. 2s though) I stopped doing Atkins when someone pointed out that he was quite a porker himself, then he went and died of a heart attack so that wasn't really a very good advert for the diet was it? I still can't believe that I ate that much fat and it was supposed to be o.k. Just proves that we'll do ANYTHING to lose weight.

I really like red and green days. On red I would normally make goulash or some other pot thing (100 red recipes), plenty of free veg and a jacket as a HEB. xx

I didnt last on Atkins that long to be honest. the problem is that actually I didnt like the "fatty" stuff. Cant stand cream or stick of butter! I never tested for keytones :o I was only playnig at it !

I jsut remember having steak, eggs and butter fried mushrooms onions and salad. For about 2 months. Made a chili that made me throw up it was so rich.

When he died I did have a bit of a smile to myself especially when devotees were busy trying to convince everyone that his premature death was nothing to do with what he ate. hhhmmmm sure!

Glad you owned up to having a smile when he died. I didn't like to say that I did (I thought you would think I had no feelings but it's o.k. now, lol) I actually used to love all the fat, I love cream and proper butter but I couldn't eat much of it now. Thank goodness we've seen sense. x

...Most suprisingly there was no gasping, not a single ache or anything - just need to learn how to breath more efficiently -although for now - just breathing is fine by me :rotfl:
I have seriously blown myself away -never in a month of Sundays did I expect to ever jog anywhere
MrsM you are a star!!!! That looks a lovely place to walk or jog actually, round a lake. When I used to jog (and run races  ) 30 yrs ago I was told to puff OUT much harder than I breathed in, that way you don't get a stitch either. I also always kind of sang to myself (very quietly) to keep a rhythm going, I still do that when I'm walking fast now.

Dizzy: I hope you soon feel better Big Hugs

I have had another EE day today (sort of) Do you mind having a look?

BREAKFAST Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and tomatoes.

LUNCH NONE ! I had breakfast quite late and was so busy that it was 3pm before I thought about lunch so just had a banana and an
    apple.

DINNER Chicken, Mexican bake, cheese on top counted as HEA and salad. Pud was meringue (2.1/2), raspberries and activia.

SNACKS 2 Butterscotch hi fi's (really sweet and gorgeous) (HEB)

I will probably have a Hi fi before end of night (6) and will count milk in 3 cups of tea as 2

    That's 10 synns if I'm not mistaken, 1 HEB, and 1 HEA

I have made the curry soup (mushy peas etc) today, should I have some of that to make up for missing lunch?

Thanks again for all your support xx
I agree with Lynz, doesn't matter what you call a meal or what time you eat it really. actually I could fit in extra meals between the regular breakfast lunch and dinner :D but then I am a piggywig and I do love my food. The main thing with SW is to never actually FEEL HUNGRY isn't it? Cos that's when things start to go downhill.

but .. but... goulash with plenty of free veg and a jacket potato is also EE isn't it? I get confused with Red and Green and remember my abortive previous attempt at SW when it was only Red and Green. Extra Easy is just so extra easy somehow and lots of the extra HEBs are just regular food on EE (meat, fish, potatoes etc)

Ooooh time for tonight's frozen yog, toffee flavour tonight :D

Oh Lynz, one target member of our group has three days of not bothering to check or count anything and then four days following the plan. She's never up or down more than a pound from her target. That's not to say she's not aware of what she's eating on those three days, I don't imagine she lives on pork scratchings and chocolate, but she's just more relaxed about what she eats. that might work to keep you at target without losing too much more
