Having another good day today, trying to do EE today but struggle with my superfree.
So far I have had:
B. Shape zero yogurt and pear
L. Home made hummus and cucumber sticks, hummus was made with FF fromage frais, tin of chick peas, roasted red pepper, lemon juice and garlic all whizzed up, yummy.
D. Goulash and potato scollops, goulash was made from the recipe in the One Pot cookbook I bought from class, it's gorgeous and I can highly recommend it!, followed by strab cheesecake mullerlight (1 syn) and a lemon hifi bar (HEB)
Now off to make not so syn free choc chip cookies with my ds, here's hoping I have some willpower!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Good evening all
Well done on the losses again and especially lil_me for hitting target :j
Its been lovely and bright here today -so as hubby escaped work early we went for a walk -only 1hr but it was mainly up hill and then I came back and did the lawn..."must burn wobble"
Well the necklace I ordered for my 1 year sw anniversary arrived last night -its lovely and delicate -and I had 2 bangles and another necklace arrive too ....all pretty n summery
SO then Im on another red carb curfew day that should look like this:-
250ml semi (A)
pineapple
frittata (0.5xA)
ratatouille (0.5)
4 ryvitas (B)
cottage cheese
avocado (5)
lettuce
cucumber
tomato
peppers
tickled cabbage
tickled beetroot
orange
fibre plus (B)
ham
salad *as above*
125ml semi (0.5xA)
activia (2.5)
so thats 2 A+Bs and 8 syns
I had a strange revelation yesterday -its * week and now I don't crave junk (thank god) but I was hungrier yesterday so I opened a pack of ham -now at 1 time I could shove endless amounts of that down my neck -I managed 2 slices yesterday and felt lousy -I really can't believe how little it takes now to make me feel "over full" -I mean -2 slices of ham extra wasn't exactly a lot -but hey ho -better than overeating I guess
Just a warning ladies -tomorrow morning Im going to the lake and Im going to attempt to jog  -so if you have any valuable ornament may I suggest you blue-tack them in place :rotfl:
Right -time to get off... have a lovely evening al!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Too funny about your run, you put me to shame Mrs M with all your excercising. I did about a mile and a half walk today which is quite rubbish for me.
Well done on your loss Dizzy:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I'm still struggling a bit with the evenings and trying to avoid the temptation to nibble. Am even thinking of resorting to doing the ironing!!!
I'm really enjoying reading everyone's posts for inspiration and support.
Good heavens, you must be struggling.........absolutley nothing makes me resort to the ironing :rotfl::rotfl:
Lil_Me - well done on getting to target :T I'm sorry your family problems are getting in the way but you lost this weight for you, and you know how hard it's been and how wonderful you feel now and that's what matters mostI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

well my hubby weighed himself before and it looks like hes put weight back on!!.. he has been really good since we both started and i dont want him to get disheartened and start eating like before again..
we mainly do green days with red days over the weekend .. he has been eating poached eggs on two pieces of wholemeal toast and tinned toms for breakfast. jacket pot with beans and salad for lunch and then for tea we have been eating things like stir fry, qourn spag boll, sw chips and beans, pasta with chicken, hes drinking up to 2 litres of water a day and eating a stack of frut on a daily basis. so just wondered if there was any tips you could give us or maybe point out whats missing in his diet?? !!
The menu you've put here looks almost perfect to me. Sometimes it takes a week or so for your body to register the change in diet. Many people lose really well in their first week, but not everyone so please don't be down-hearted. Stick with it and next week should see a good result.
In the way of fruit - try and make sure it's the SS marked ones rather than say bananas or grapes - these have high levels of sugar so too many in a day can be detrimental.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hello.
I just joined slimming world and have lost 4lb. I guess it's too late to join the Easter challenge??
Hello and welcome to the thread. I think it's a little late to join the official Easter challenge (it's only a week away) but feel free to have a mini-challenge of your own - say another 2lb before next weekend!!
Keep posting :TI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hello losers I mean that in the nicest possible way. This extra easy choice I really dont understand how you can eat all that food from Green and Red days , and still lose weight. ? How on earth does that happen. My DD said that because shes back at school on Monday, that she is going to do Green days because she can have pasta for lunch. I think this is so she doesnt draw attention to the fact that she is trying to lose weight. You know 15yr olds can be very hurtful. But my concern is that she will be so bored by wednesday and munch lots. thats why I think Extra easy choice migh be better. Help!Sealed pot (2010) no: 878 £719.60 :jCompleted

EE works because it forces you to have lots of superfree foods with each meal ie: fruit on cereal, salad with lunch, veggies with dinner. These extra fruits and veg help to fill you up without too many calories. She should be able to get salad to go with her pasta shouldn't she? Make sure she drinks lots of water or sugar-free squash and gets some extra exercise and the weight will come off.
It's hard for children , as you say, other kids can be very hurtful, but if she says that she's trying to eat more healthily like *** (whichever celebrity she admires) it should go down betterI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
O.K. first day on EE - have managed it. If you EE people would take a look I would be grateful.
Breakfast: Scrambled egg, toms and cottage cheese (I know it's weird)
Lunch: Poached salmon, new potatoes and salad.
Dinner: Grilled pork steak, new potatoes and salad, 2 teaspoon X light mayo (2)
Berries (frozen summer fruits) plus quark and vanilla yoghurt mixed as "cream"
Snacks: 2 bananas, shape yoghurt.
I only drink black coffee and usually drink about 3 mugs of tea with skimmed milk a day so I will count the milk as my HEA and have a hi-fi bar in a minute which will be my HEB
Hope this is o.k.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
DIZZY: Well done on your loss!!!! (God bless the dynorod soup!!!!!!)
