O.K. you're on! I'll try a day (maybe 2) before weigh in on Wednesday evening. I can't thank you enough for caring. OH is great and is really pleased for me that I have lost lots of weight but he didn't care that I was 3 stone heavier (bless him) and doesn't really understand why I get down over STS and gains. x

Well I've had a mixed day. I lost 1.5lbs and got to target which I am so happy about!!!

On the flip side my Gran got sectioned today and is in hospital as she can't (won't) look after herself and OH's Grandad has a brain tumour so will be having brain surgery. I'm being very selfish but I'm upset that no-one feels like they can be happy at my achievement.

    :grouphug::j:T

These are specially for you Lil_Me. It must be absolutely amazing to get to your target, very well done.

SUZIEBEAR: Sorry I forgot to say that these quantities are for one serving. All I did was double everything up and there was loads. Would easily feed three or maybe four as part of a meal or between two for a lovely supper. x
Thank you so much for putting this up, sounds lovely, will get the ingrediants on my shopping list for saturday, thanks again :D

Hi folks :) Not a good WI this week as I put on 2.5lbs - that would be because I was following the 'scone' diet lol. That's what happens when the kids are off on holiday!

Anyway, congrats to all those who are staying firmly on the wagon.

Can anyone tell me if the roast chicken mugshot is free on EE? I have a suspicion it might be 1 syn.

Also, what do you add to your chilli? I've added garlic, cumin, ground coriander, paprika, tinned toms, chopped chilli and salt and pepper to the mince and done it in the slow cooker - but it tastes as if it's lacking something. It's not very 'rich' if you know what I mean. Was going to add tom puree but didn't have any.

In the end I added a couple of tablespoons of gravy granules and it made all the difference! Yum. :)

Next time try using passatta instead of the tinned toms, it makes it loads richer! I HATE chilli or bolognese made with tinned toms but love it with passatta. Also, if you can get smoked paprika I'd recommend giving it a try, its deeeeeeelish!!

Lil-me - congrats on getting to target! hoepfully I'll be joining you soon! (Next week would be good!). I had 2lbs to go when I weighed last week but I didn't make it this week so I don't know where I am now!

    I'm having a SE day (I think!):

Brekkie - banana, grapefruit, porridge (HEA&B)
Lunch - tomato salsa type thing! Pitta (HEB2), HM soup, fruit salad (mango, pineapple, orange)
Tea - cod and chorizo stew (4ish for chorizo but need to check when I weigh it!), mash, lots of veggies (PSB, green beans, carrots, cauliflower)
I also have an apple and a nectarine for a snack if I need them, will probably have a yogurt when I get in from work as OH is on late shift so tea will be after 9pm!!

If I'm really hungry at tea time I'll switch to EE so I can have more mash and syn the pitta at lunch but I should be ok as long as I do plenty of veg!

Morning all! Will read through everyone's posts in a minute.

I have a very pooey dog today and have been up since 4.30am cleaning and scrubbing the "accidents" - he's fine in himself but has a very runny bum. Lovely! (Dizzy - Have you sneaked him some leftover Dynorod soup?:rotfl::rotfl:)

    Today's food will be...
    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - casear type salad with parmesan (A choice) an a bit of dressing (will work out the syns in a bit), grapes, strawberries and a kiwi
Dinner - jacket potato, beans and cheese (A choice) to use up bits in the fridge
Snacks - cereal bar (hifi or oaty toffee one) (B choice), maybe a pack of ryvita minis (B choice)

So far the only syns will come from the casear dressing but I may well have a Vimto lolly (2 syns) tonight.
I'm trying to cut down the syns a bit today because although I've been within the limit since weigh in its only just so a good day will hopefully balance it out. OH has mentioned going out to eat tomorrow too so could do with saving a few in case.

    Have a good skinny day!

You're welcome to pay back fees and then you keep your record, so if you've lost 5st already you might want to keep it.

You can just sign up as a new member, and the slate gets wiped, so any losses you had prior to Jan won't show on your new record. Up to you, but I'd prob just wipe it!
