well done Lil_Me On Reaching Target
you have earned your place on the target sofa smiley-happy055.gifsmiley-happy107.gif

Im sorry that the timing of it seems a bit 'iffy' with whats going on with your gran & OHs Grandad.....but Im sure that you're family are really pleased for you and once things settle down they will find time to show it hun ;) In the meantime, we will shower you with all the praise that you deserve on here *big hugs*
......... hope things are ok with for your gran & grandad x x x

Confused Im all in agreement of 'shaking things up' and trying something new to make the body confused by what its getting.....and getting more superfrees cant be a bad thing(but saying that theres no reason why you cant just stay on red/greens and bump up the volume of superfrees on those plans I suppose. BUT EE is a lot easier;)
its like having a good old fashioned meat & 2 veg meal when you think about it:) 'simples'

Well I weighed in last night with 2lb loss :) must have been the mammoth Dyno ROD induced poo that did the trick :rotfl:

3lbs to go for my 2.5 stone shiney so Im really 'going for it' :A

will post my menu in a bit as ive only got as far as brekkie and Ive no idea what sort of day im on yet :o red or EE OR.....success express!!! now this is a new one for me  and i confuse easily:rotfl:

Congrats on hitting target Lil me. Those stats would make a medical professional very happy - slow, steady sustainable weight loss, just like they tell us.

I'm on extra easy today I think:
    B: fruit, VLF yogurt, 1tsp honey (1syn).
L: eating out, rice and stirfry probably.
    D: pasta and vegetable sauce.

Snacks: handful of crisps, yogurt, banana and grapes.

Maman, I needed the bread for sandwiches yesterday because I had to go out and didn't have time to do a pasta salad. In the end a red day worked fine as Ijust ate a huge amount of vegetables instead of potatoes.
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • hey guys, well tonight is the big night! I've been incredibly sad/organised and written down what I can have to drink! I have realised that it is more syn effective for me if I drink halfs of cider whilst i'm out, as they are only 5 syns per half, a saving of around 15 syns compared to the irn bru and vodka. I am going to have spirit and diet mixers at home before I go out. I only think i'll need a max of 5 syns for food stuffs throught the day

DRINKS AT HOME: 1 single & 2 doubles with diet coke = 12.5 syns - may only have singles but to be on the safe side.
DRINKS WHILST OUT: 1 double with irn bru, 4 halfs of cider = 28 syns.
Total drinks syn count = 40.5

I'm having an EE day today :-)

    Breakfast - 28g bran flakes & 125ml ss milk (HEB + 1/2 HEA)
Lunch - basa fish fillet and roast veg or a jacket potato and salad
Tea - chicken stir fry - 2.5 syns for the sauce
(found some amazing stir fry veg with good stuff like mini corn on the cob and mange tout in it for 75p, bargain!)

What do people have with fish thats not roast vegetables? I'm getting a bit bored with this. I was going to have fish and chips, but I really can't think of any superfree stuff to have with it. I don't like mushy pea's, but they're not even superfree so....

I put a recipe on the recipe thread for spicy fish. you can have it with salad & yog/mint sauce or put it in a HEB pitta.

Its really nice (and this is from someone who doesnt really like fish lol)

Thank you all for your kind words! I am very happy to get to target. Been a long time coming haha. Here are my stats :D

    51 weeks
    42.5 lbs lost (3st 1.5)
    0.85 lbs average per week
25.7% of my total body weight gone!!

Well done hun! slow and steady wins the race :)

I'm having to go out for an unexpected meal tonight in local pub, not sure of their menu as I've never been before but hoping they have jacket spuds! Cos the veggie choices in pubs are normally lasagne which is not SW friendly!

  • Hey All,

Hope everyone has had a good week and is looking forwards to the weekend!!

I went to Asda today (I normally go to Mr Ts!) which is 20 miles away to get some of the chickpea dahl eveyone raves about - could I find it - not on your nelly!! Never mind!!

I did however buy a couple of different things which I am hoping will shake up my menu a bit, trying to get in more of the speed foods.

2 things I bought which I can't find in the book are Asda extra light Mayo and also Asda light salad cream, if anyone has access to syns online please can you check for me? The new directory is really difficlt to find anything!! I can only find things maybe 30% of the time

    Menu for today

B: Scrambeled egg with 1/2 tbs ketchup 0.5
L: Jacket spud with potato bit scooped out so just ate skin, tuna, 2 tbs Asda extra light Mayo (Syns help needed!!), 1tbs Asda light salad cream (More syn help needed!!), scallions, iceberg, red pepper, tesco light choices coldslaw (3.5)
D: Spag bol (with loads of mushrooms, onion, garlic, tinned toms and passata and 28g of parmesan (A)
snack: Grapes, toffee oatybix bar (OMG LUUUUUUSH!!!!) (B)

So that is 1 A, 1 B, and 4 syns so far so should be ok for whatever the mayo and salad cream are!!

I am amazed at how well I have done today as my * week is arriving and had really bad pains today!!
