Hi Rossie, what you've eaten so far sounds well within syns (and that clever Dizzy already pointed out which things to beware of). On the jacket potato question, it could be that after a while you need to liven up your plan with variety (weightloss can slow if you keep eating the same things so our consultant tells people) but for now it'll be fine. Good luck!
MRSM Im chuffed to bits for you being able to have a choice of lovely outfits to wear and actually looking forward to a night out :A
Bless your lil cotton socksyou deserve this soooooo much....Have a fab night hun x x x
What she said MrsM. Is this a night out to celebrate your year on SW?
EE for me:
B: NAS squash, porage, banana and EEA milk for teas (and some on porage)
L: bubble & squeak, pickled cabbage and tuna, half a melonchicken casserole with celery, leek, onion, carrots, butterbeans and mushrooms served with potatoes and cabbage
Snacks: may eat the other half a melon to get rid of it as I find it flavours the milk in the fridge!0 -
LMAO :T:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone tried the new weetabix Oatybar Toffee flavour (HEB or 3.5 syn) OMG they are amazing - like the most buttery sweet flapjack Ive ever hadI think I like them better than Fibre plus
They are gorgeous aren't they! But I think they are 4 syns each as they are higher in calories that the other bars at 80 calories0 -
hi everyone
i'm after some advice please...
i am on day 9 of slimming world at home (i used to go to classes and lost 1 1/2 stone but put it all back on) i have been having no syns most days and have had a couple of days where i've had around 5 syns. my question is is it better to have some syns everyday? i'm not saving them up for a binge or anything, just scared to use them really!
thanks x0 -
Why are you scared to use them? We all are and lose regularly!! My sister who is a consultant says if you have less than 5 it wont work and you will put on weight if you stop SW really quickly. As Ive never ever had less than 8 I wouldnt know!
I have between 10-15 every day ( if not more) and consistently lose! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Agree you should have syns they are in the plan for a reason. I have between 10 &15 a day and am now at target so it didnt do me any harm.0
-
thanks! i'll try to have a few more! do you incorporate them into your meals or have them as snacks?0

Well, I ve been to WI and it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be - I stayed the same, which after the past week is a triumph of Nell McAndrew DVDs over food!:j:rotfl::rotfl:
It felt like a loss for me as I'd really expected to gain and its actually motivated me to carry on. Thank you to everyone that encouraged me to go even though I didn't want to .
Came home and had Tesco 9p Value pasta with a tbsp of pesto and a bit of parmesan and it felt like the nicest tea ever!
So onwards and upwards (or downwards should that be?!).......0 -
