II will go to class - if for no other reason than to avoid the football and OH's mates that are coming over to watch it!

    :T:T:T:T

Well done for choosing to go to class (even though your decision is not entirely based on anything to do with what the scales might say.....more the thought of a load of men watching footie in your front room :rotfl:)

Its always best to Bite the bullet Hun - I always find If I go and face it, then stay to class, I come out more determined NOT to come home and think 'sod it' it just seems to fire me up more for a 100% week.

I'm having a flexi day. I got called up and begged to go to KFC tonight (part of my work). I could chuck the food but I hate waste! I also have to taste it to check for quality.

So I'm planning a simple 2 piece meal and (depending on the chicken I get) will be somewhere between 21 and 28 syns, which isn't too bad. I just really hope it doesn't get in the way of my 1lb hoped loss on Thursday. I'm way under my syns for the rest of the week, but normally if I want to have a flexi day I have it at the weekend, not sure how a Tuesday binge will translate!

    EE day

    Lunch

Veg fest! Boiled potatoes, carrots, brocolli and hopefully cabbage. A little gravy to moisten - 2 syns

    Dinner
KFC reg fries - 10 syns
    2 of either - Drumstick 5.5, Rib 6.5 or Thigh 9. 11-18 syns
If I get upsold I'll get some corn.

No As or Bs at the moment. I may have weetabix before bed, in the past I've found that fast food doesn't actually fill me up!

Good morning all -well done on the losses folks

    oohhh I LOVE Quincy:j

So here we are 1 year down the line _party_ - and still on track :j,,,,,,
8st10.5lbs gone and only 3st 11.5lbs to go to be at the top end of my healthy weight range :j(I will decide what else needs to go once I get there ;))

The weather has decided to Pee it down -swine ... guess we won't be sitting out on the terrace area at the Italian tonight then ;)

Anyway its another red day for me and Im playing it sneaky by having :-
    apple
    banana
    mango
    pineapple
    melon

    227g jacket (B)
    cottage cheese
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    peppers
    tickled cabbage
    tickled beetroot

    fibre plus (B)

Now that uses up my 2xheBs so my carb curfew will still be ok... then tonight it leaves me 2heA and all my syns ... now so far I worked out that if I want 3 courses tonight (which I doubt) I will have:-

    * Insalata constandina - feta salad -using 2xHeA to cover my feta

*Filetto di Maialeal balsamico - fork fillets in a lemon, white wine, rosemary, bay and balsamic sauce -served with veggies (hubby will eat the rosemary potatoes)-which Im allowing 2sys for the wine + extra if the veggies have anything on them
THEN if I have room for or want a pud -it will be a granita at 5 syns or zablione (which is 10 but I will only eat half)

SOOOOOOOO after all that waffle -the most it should be this evening is 2heA and 7-ish syns
Anyhooooo I know what Im wearing :j-I actually had a choice of suitable outfits this time but stuck with my first choice -no more struggling to find something tha "will do"
Sorry for waffling on but Im so excited -I can't remember the last time I looked forward to going out
SO a HUGE :kisses: to you all for your support and encouragement and to SW ....
I will stop blathering on now :o
Have a lovely day everyone and keep at it -we are getting there!!!!
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

MRS M - Waffle on all you like - you've earned the right to a good waffle. What a great feeling it is not to have to stick to the same old things that as you say "will do" (they don't have "to do" any more do they) Great thing choice. Have a brilliant time at the Italian, the weather in glorious Devon is fantastic at the moment so hope it brightens up for you so you can sit out. Enjoy xx

I have decided not to go to group for a while. My 12 week count down finished last week and I have you lot for suppport.

Breakfast - Porridge (HB) and blueberries

Lunch - Speed soup, Nectarine and a clementine

Dinner - Chicken, Jacket pot and baked beans grated cheese (HA) - nectarine and pineapple

I am guilty of jumping on the scales every morning too. Plus I've kept a spread sheet since January recording my weight everyday (yes it flutuates) :o (I find it helps to keep me on track)

    Afternoon peeps,

WI last night and lost 1.5lbs!

Quite pleased but then me and my bro went home and stuffed mushy pea curry (syn free) and then wound in a whole tub of ben and jerrys (the big ones!) each!
and the doughnuts & cupcakes!

Hey ho, that is in the past & i am living for today!

    Green day today

B- Cherries & FF From Frais
    S - Banana
L - Quorn chilli with rice & carrot/swede mash (lots of veggies in chilli)
    S - FF Activia
D - Mushy Pea Curry with HM wedges
S - 5 scan bran (heb) with lemon curd quark (2) & Fibre Plus (heb) Milk in coffees (hea)

Has anyone tried the new hifi? Butterscotch flavour... very nice if i say so myself and you get 2 for healthy extra but they do look tiny!

Aiming this week to drink more water (well... NAS squash!)

I want to lose 2lbs next week to get me in net weight bracket again!

Well done to losers & good luck for WI's x

3 tins mushy peas (tesco or morrison value are good)
1 tin baked beans (again value are good)
    Some chopped onion
    Some chopped mushrooms
Curry powder to taste (value is good! :rotfl:)

'Fry' onions & mushrooms in pan, add tinned stuff & curry powder to taste
    Cook until hot

I use quorn pieces in it so have to cook for appro 15mins

You may need water to thin it down a little as it is quite thick

Some people blitz in blender, but i can't be bothered!

Please bare in mind... i hate mushy peas & hate opening the tin... but it tastes sort of like curry sauce from chippy! :o

    Now on Recipe Thread x
  • Hello everyone,

I am Rossie and I want to loose weight, but the healthy way. I plan to join Slimming World class on Thursday so I will have a better understanding of the various options and what the syns are etc.

This week so far I have had

    Yesterday
    B = Banana, Orrange
    L - Tuna Salad Baguette
    S - 2 oranges
D - 1 Chicken Breast and stir Fry using spray light and oyster sauce. Did add chili flakes, ginger power, garlic flakes and paprika to the chicken to give it some flavour.

    Today
    B =1 Banana, FF Yogurt
L = Baked Potatoe with half tin Light choices Baked Beans
D = 1 Chicken breast marinated in Jerk Sauce (about tablespoon) which I will cook in George Foreman grill and have with Cauliflower.
    S = 2 Oranges, another Banana

Question, If I have had a Baked Potatoe for lunch can I have one for dinner or should I have Brown Rice, it it better to use an alternative.

Another question, are eating a few of those wrigleys, extra mints sugar free okay or do they count as syns as well.

I also did Davina Workout (20 mins) yesterday and tonight I plan to get on my Wii and try The Biggest Looser.

If I get hungry this evening I will have Ryvita and bit of Primula cheese.

    Cheers

    R
