Hey Dizzy you make me howl you "can't eat lamb cos you're scared of sheep" ? !!!!! What's all that about? Bet it's like Quincy in your house when lamb's on the menu. (for the younger ones amongst us Quincy was a pathologist) - On a serious note the shish kebabs sound great, I might make them and take them to our taster evening this week. Thanks for the laughs. x

Evening all, I am completely stuffed and totally knackered, I have been busy ALL day [supposed to be on holiday ] . I have been slaving away in the kitchen, [STRIKE]housework[/STRIKE] and ironing as well as walking the dog.
I made cous cous frittas [anisleys roasted veg with extra onions, celery, mushrooms, babycorn & toms], made fruity flapjacks for my son, chopped my fruit & made potato bake with garlic & herb philly, onions, mushrooms and sprinkled with cheese on top :D. Stuffed from the bake which had for tea.

So food today has been on plan:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - Batchelors tomato & herb mugshot type thing [couldn't taste the tomato though :(], cous cous fritta, melon, pineapple, activia.
    T - potato bake [philly 2xb, cheese 2xa], beans, bbq sauce [3]
Snacks - pineapple, melon, onken, meringue [2.5]
    Syns - 5.5

Have enjoyed the warm weather but hayfever has kicked in early, had disturbed night cos nose bunged up and I hate not being able to breath through nose :( need to go buy some Beconase so hopefully will be able to sleep tonight.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Evening, I've just had a giggle at everyone's posts - I really must try the dynarod soup, sounds great!

I weighed myself first thing today and have lost a Kilo, so I am very pleased indeed and insprired to carry on being good!

    Today's been OK. I ate,
B: egg and one slice of toast (HEB)
L: Pasta with HM tomato sauce (onions and muchrooms), Mango and strawbs, 20g Mozerella
D: roast chicken, lots of vegetables. I did bake a potato but didn't want it in the end.
rest of HEA was milk in tea x2
    Snacks - apple,

Syns: a bit of chocolate bunny (3syns?), a couple of mouthfuls of white bread (2 syns?) cadbury's choc options drink (3 syns), brown sauce 1 syn.

I'm finding that the craving for sweet stuff has really reduced since I started carefully following the plan (and not cheating).

    tomorrow will be
B: VLF yog, 1tsp honey, fruit.
L: chicken salad sandwich, mango and banana
D: Red thai curry with rice (syns in the coconut milk)

    snacks: fruits.
    Don't know about syns yet.

    Sleep well
    Trying to keep in budget.

My consultant emailed me the recipe for dyno rod soup although she called it something else) after I didn't loose any weight last week. So I made my first batch last night. She wasn't joking when she said to use the biggest pan in the house  It's made enough for a weeks worth of meals. I've had a little taster, well nearly a bowlfull actually, and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Still not sure about baked beans in a soup though. Anyway, just wondered...how long does it take to feel any effect? :D

Supper: cadbury highlights, alpen light, muller light yog

Morning all. Its looking like another lovely sunny day here, despite the forecast being for rain!! It was fairly chilly first thing though! I think I have the beginnings of a cold. OH has been moaning about having 'man flu' all week so I blame him!!! I just hope I don't get a cough as whenever I do they stick with me for atleast 8 weeks and my wedding is just over 3 weeks away!!!

Aaanyway! Green day for me today:

Brekkie - ryvita (HEB), boiled eggs, beans
    Snack - banana
Lunch - HM soup (2), leftover sw chips, beetroot salad (YUMMY!), melon, mango, grapes
Tea - fish (HEB), sw chips, mushy peas, carrots, ketchup (1 or 2 syns)

I'm reeeeaaaally enjoying my fruit since I started going to the market and getting stuff other than yukky apples and pears!

The proper name is Speed Food Soup - it was Dizzy who renamed it after it began to take effect on her :rotfl:

You're lucky to have a pan big enough, I had to split my first batch into 2

The results of eating it should show over a couple of days, but apart from that particular effect, it does help with weight loss too, especially if you have it for lunch every day.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
