Can I join back in on this thread please? I did so well on the plan until christmas, then it all went wrong and I have struggled to be on plan properly since. This week I have gone back to writting it all down, counting everything so hopefully I can stay focused now, we also got a new consultant last week so a good time to start a fresh for me

    Good afternoon all

Well done to those with losses and hugs to those having hard times..

Rachel -so sorry to hear about your mum - I lost my sis a couple of years ago to ovarian cancer and my lovely mum had a mastectomy about a year ago (although she got the all clear thank god). Don't be too hard on yourself over your sometimes not so good food choices -just take each day as it comes and try and create some more lovely times with mum ;) ..ooooh Im filling up now and Im not usually a sentimental kinda gal ...

... I did the shred -so thats out of the way :jand later I "may" only "may" give the zumba another try :o

Well Im on another red "carb curfew" -in fact lets just say Im always on red unless I say otherwise
so then it should look like this:-
    250ml semi (A)
    lemon in warm water
    mango
    pineapple
    melon
    strawberries
    banana

    frittata (crustless quiche jobby)(0.5xA)
    ratatouille (1)
    71g peas (B)
    pineapple
    fibre plus bar (B)
    avocado (5):j
    prawns
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomatoes
    peppers
    tickled cabbage
    tickled beetroot

    125ml semi (0.5xA)
    activia (2.5)
so that should be 2A+B and 8.5 syns
We need to nip shopping this evening - AGAIN -more water, low fat feta, cottage cheese, milk, mozarella, lettuce... I swear I could do with a cow in the back garden
I have taken quite a shine to frittatas -or "crustless quiche" as I decided mine are now more like -god the one I have at the moment is scrummy (hence wanting more low fat feta )

    Skintslimmer ---- that quote :-
I was always convinced that I really enjoyed healthy food, just that I ate too much of it (ok, and all the naughty stuff too). Now I know for certain that I'm definately a weirdo.
Summed me up perfectly (ooh not the weirdo bit mind :D) .... I have pretty much always cooked from scratch, eaten loads of fruit n veg, love most things that are "good" for me (with a healthy dollop of the naughty stuff :p)and I still ended up HUGE :o - I think now the main change has been that I consider what will "feed my body" rather than "feed just my taste buds and emotions" .

Right I had better get off
Have a lovely day all and keep up the great work everyone

I've been shopping today and I can get into a size 12:T:D I'd lost all interest in clothes when I was pushing size 18 but it's slowly coming back.;)

EE today (determined to have a good week to balance the weekend when I'll be away)

B:NAS squash, kippers and toast HEB, HEA milk in teas
L: bubble & squeak and pickled beetroot
    D: lamb stir fry
Snacks will be fruit if I fancy anything

I've got 2 slices of WW bread left from my HEB but I'm not really that hungry. Anyone else not use up all their HEs? Consequences (as a one off)?

As a one-off, not much in the way of consequences really.

They are there to give you calcium (HEAs) and fibre (HEBs) and to make sure that yur diet is healthy and varied. Try to have them in general but don't panic if you miss them occasionally.

PS: Rachel, I'm so sorry about your Mum. Like MrsM says, make every day count and do all the things you would enjoy together while she's feeling well.
