Thanks for the encouragement. I have been an 'on-off' SW'er for years. I have the attention span of a gnat, and am disabled and often house bound - which means not only am I not moving much, I get fed up and sabotage myself. Stupidly I know I'm doing it, but that doesn't stop me.
But in Feb 2010 I hit 12 stone 6lbs and was size 16/18 (I'm short).
So I decided on a different plan of attack. What I did was set myself half stone mini targets, and when I hit them I stopped going to SW and just focussed on maintaining for a few weeks by doing SW on my own at home. Then I went back and had a crack at another half stone.
When I get to target this time, I will have lost two stone in 14 months doing it this way. I am already comfortably in a size 12 (I still keep buying size 14's though, and having to take them back, as I look at size 12 and think 'no way will I get into that'). Of course this wouldn't work for everyone.
I think I'll probably stop when I get to 10.5 stone. I know it still puts me in the 'borderline obese' range on the BMI chart, but I look and feel well, and I'm at that age where too much weight loss leads to saggy skin and wrinkles

I'm amazed at the difference in syns of meringue nests! Sainsburys are 2.5, tesco normal (13g) are 3, tesco finest (13.5g) are 2.5.
Worth knowing if you want to try and claw back some syns from somewhere without noticing the difference!WelshWoofer wrote: »Popped to Mr T's and bought some meringue nests, frozen berries and fat free fromage frais - put it all together and all I can say is YUM!
Will definitely do that again - feels like a proper dessert! Had 2 nests but next time could make do with 1.
There's a load of recipes for meringue based puddings in this month's SW mag.
I don't have a very sweet tooth so I've been enjoying a bowl of berries sprinkled with a little bit of sweetener and a big dollop of FF yogurt all mixed together. It's really yummy and totally syn free:)0 -

Good idea to set mini targets. I know what you mean by not picking up smaller sizes, I still go to the back of the rails for the big sizes and end up taking the clothes from the front - it's great. There's nothing like the feeling of just getting up in the morning and being able to get dressed in minutes (much better than filling the bed up with stuff that doesn't fit).
Keep going x0 -
Morning. It's lovely and sunny here - hope you all have a good bit of sunshine today.
I've got my plan ready, could you cast an eye over it to see if there's any problems?
B: orange and grapefruit segments, VLF yogurt, 1 tsp honey.
L: Ham salad sandwich, might put 1tbsp mayo in it for 4.5 syns, apple, yoghurt (3 syns)chicken Bhuna with cinnamon rice from the magazine.
HEA is milk. Snacks are banana mid morning and probably some grapes in the afternoon.
The children will eating earlier than us tonight (toad in the hole) so I need to prepare something to snack on then so I am not tempted to eat 2 dinners!Trying to keep in budget.

1lb off this week, that's 4 stone 11lb now. Want to lose another 3 in the next 2 weeks, stick at that level for a month or so, then lose another stone and that will put me nicely in my healthy BMI for the first time since I was 14.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Morning all, I'm still here ! Have been working really hard the last few weeks with my new job but trying to stick to the plan as best I can.
WI last night and I lost another 1lb, and got my 1 stone award :jso I must be doing something right.
I have 3lb to go to my interim target of 12 stone.
Was working out my total weight loss last night - since Sept 09 I've lost 3st 0.5lb. I've certainly taken the scenic routebut it's off and it's staying off which I'm thrilled about.
I've no chance of catching up with you all so I hope you're all doing great, hugs for those that need them and congrats for all the losers xxxSave £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -

Looks good to me! Make sure you have plenty of salad in or with your sandwich! I assume the bread for your sandwich is HEB? DOn't forget to syn the honey in your breakfast.
WHy not make yourself a small bowl of salad when prepping your lunch and have that when your children have their Tea?
I went to WI last night, was feeling very bloated so didn't feel too confident but have lost 1lb! I now have 2lbs to go to target and 4 weeks tomorrow to my wedding so I WILL be at target when I get married :j. As long as I remember to be an :A that is lol!!
Sooooo, today is EE, tea is at MIL's so could be anything!
brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana, plum
Lunch - leftover fajita veg (and a bit of chicken! 2 syns as used oil to cook it!), sw quiche (also filled with superfree veggies), melon, pineapple.
Tea - ??? but I have 13 syns left so should hopefully cover it!
I'll be going to the market today for a fruit top up too! I was watching a programe I'd taped a while back the other night and the hairy bikers made a Gorgeous looking cauliflower cheese. I might get a cauli to give it a try at the weekend, it's not very sw friendly but if I use me HEA for the cheese it shouldn't be too bad!!
Ooohhh, tonight we're having our 'pre-wedding' photo shoot!! We're going down to the beach and I REALLY hope there's not too many people about!!!0 -
Morning all, been suffering with pmt this week and have eaten way too much chocolate  I have been at target for two weeks and am getting married in August so dont want to sabotage it now. Think I need to get out of target mindset and spend this week totally on plan.
Well done to all the losers, good luck to all those weighing in today, glad you dd is feeling better guns and hope your photoshoot goes well Lisa.0 -
