So today is a green day.......i hope I have got it right!!!

Breakfast - 2 eggs, heinz baked beans
    Snack - melon/mango
Lunch - Cous Cous with peppers, onions and spices
Dinner - Jacket potato with extra light philidealphia (HEA) and tuna (HEB)
HEA - Skimmed milk (for tea - had 4 cups)
    Possible snack of strawberries later

Was going to do extra easy, but something tells me (rightly or wrongly) red/green must be best - otherwise why not scrap them and just do extra easy? Not sure how long it will last - will prob end up being EE most days for ease soon! :D

The best plan of all is the one where you do EE one day, Green another, red another etc. Turn and turn about like that gives you more variety and forces you to plan in advance.

The reason they've not scrapped the Green and Red plans is that people like to have a choice and SW promote the fact that you don't need will-power when you've got choice-power :D

THanks for all the comments with my day 1 menu!

Was able to swap the extra light phili to a HEB as hadn't used both - lesson learnt for the future. I am still waiting for my SW books to arrive so learning slowly. Have downloaded some bits from SW website to help.

    GREEN DAY
    Breakfast - fruit salad
    Snack - Quaker - Oat bar - 7 syns
Lunch - Cous Cous with peppers, tomato and cucumber
    Snack - mullerlight yogurt
Dinner - think it'll be Baked Potato, beans, cheddar cheese (HE) with salad

Tomorrow will be a EXTRA EASY - have got some shopping in ready and will be cooking for my boyf too.

Then trying to plan a RED DAY but not sure what I will have for lunch (need to take a packed lunch, so cous cous and pasta salads are the easiest things whcih obviously don't work well for red). Scratches brain......time to look at SW website

    BabyB
    Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:
    Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44
    Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.10

Hun you get 2x healthy extras on red and green days.
So here you have only had the cheese, you can have more cheese/ milk
And dont forget your Bs- shame you had the quaker bar as obviously you could have had other bars- alpen lights are 2 for a HEB ( all varieties) Weetabix bars 1= HEB Fibre plus 1= HEB

Are any other bars HEB anyone know?

I dont do reds but options are
HM soup made out of superfree - eg butternut squash & ginger- or loads of other options
Meat salad - like chicken cesar ( with own dressing of course)
Or have a bread roll as a HEB then a sandwich.... ?
Spanish omelette - leave the potato out and add extra SF to make it free.... er. er .. im out of ideas!

this is why i dont do reds!

Asda or co-op WM pitta breads are a good option 1 = HEB filled with tuna & xtra low mayo (0.5 syn tblspn) onion/cucumber.

a flask of hm veggie soup

chopped mixed salad with ham/chicken/beef, boiled eggs. make your own dressing with plain ff yog or fromage frais, mint sauce lemon juice & chilli (yummy) or just drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

    sw quiche

take a tub of fruit salad with you for pud or just to graze on ;)
