I might be really thick but I've just had a revelation for me!

Just been browsing the supermarket websites and have discovered that frozen mixed berries are very cheap (£1 or £1.97 per bag depending on whether they're value or not) and FREE!

I love rasps, strawbs, balckberries and the like but they can be soooo expensive so this could be my new fad mised with natural yoghurt or something yummier that's low syns. Maybe low fat custard or squirty cream? Anyone got any ideas?

Philli isn't a HEA its only HEB on green otherwise has to be syned. We have had this debate so many times as no-one understands why its not HEA. Something to do with not enough protein??

Not enough calcium for a HEA, but enough protein for a HEB (but only on green!). Counterintuitive to not use it as a HEA really isn't it.

I was thinking about doing stir-fry with beansprouts as a more like chop suey, instead of having egg fried rice and noodles.

I also thought about doing Pulled pork. http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/slow-cooker-pulled-pork-sandwich with coleslaw this would be good on EE as well then you cah have chips or wedges or something as well!

I am off the wagon today and having a flexi, I just been craving cereal today I dont know wahts going on. Anyway back with a vengeance tomorrow I think I need some new recipes to keep me going!

I have these. I buy the sainsburys basic ones and they are as good as any. I will say though they are no way as filling as non frozen they break down and go mushy. A bit more like a coulis! But still yum all the same. I buy these and sometimes mix them in with normal strawbs to stretch them out a bit. My market is doing strawbs for 59p at the mo and bluberries for 99p so frozen are not the good value they were in the winter...!:A

Have them with a yog though they are lovely!

Knew it was something like that, thanks Lil. Don't understand it either :o

A good day food wise for me:

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
L - mugshot, 2 cous cous [Ainsleys roasted veg, extra onions, 2 eggs to bind] frittas, toms, pineapple, melon, activia.
T - sw wedges, egg, toms, onions, 2 x cous cous frittas, spag hoops, bbq sauce [2]
Snacks - 2 x apples, pineapple, melon, onken, meringue [2.5], cous cous fritta
Syns - 5 [including .5 for Ainsleys cous cous even though I have loads left]

Am craving chocolate soooooooooo much, have a small hollow choc egg sitting there calling me but as I'm unsure of syns will probably give it my son. Also know theres a bag of mars planets in the cupboard whispering to me but am determined to ignore them :-) am short a HEB too but nothing takes my fancy :-(
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I actually find I lose more weight when I do proper EE days! The only time where red or green is better is when you aren't able to get 1/3rd plate of your superfree. Obviously vegetarians will always have green days, but it's very true that the more superfree you eat the more you lose!

Hollydays - if you sign up you will get all the information about each plan. In terms of the best plan it's really flexible! You don't have to pick one and stick to it, you can have an Extra Easy day one day and a red the next if you wanted.

this is definately true. I always seem to be starving on green days too for some reason? :o

I think it might be good for you to go to group, to at least get the booklets and the info you need :) then you dont have to keep going if you really cant afford it.

I agree! Go for at least 1 session just to get the books and the explanations. Stick around and listen to Image Therapy and you can learn a lot! If you decide it's too pricey then you've got the books and we'll support you on here.
