Update on the curry without curry powder: it was actually ok! I used chillis and a bit of this, bit of that spice in the end, so no chance of replicating the recipe, but hey ho!

    Good afternoon lovely people
well don on the losses again :T

Well after yesterdays flurry of activity in the kitchen Im having a lazy day today -hubby ended up wanting the pizza for supper after all -so I made him a 12" one for last night and 2x8" ones for lunches -got up this morning to find he has taken both 8" ones today . The bread got sliced and frozen in 2's

Anyhoo - Im thinking of trying to shake things up *again*
so Im planning on trying to use my carbs by mid afternoon for the week (or as long as I can manage )
so then Im going RED today and it should look like this:-
    14g oats (0.5xB)
    125ml semi (0.5xA)
    banana

    Smoked haddock fillet
    ratatouille (0.5)
    71g peas
    (0.5xB)
    mango
    melon
    fibre plus (B)
    roast chicken
    avocado (7)
    lettuce
    cucumber
    tomato
    peppers
    onion
    tickled beetroot
    tickled cabbage

    375ml semi (1.5xA)
    activia (2.5)
so I make that 2A+B and 10 syns....

We need to nip shopping this evening so thay had better have avocados in or there will be a hissy fit going on in the fruit n veg section -I also need to pick up some more activia intensely yogs -which should be on offer at €1.49 a pack instead of €1.99
Right I had better get off -have a great day everyone and keep at it
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

Just back from a weekend at home for Mother's Day and although I tried to be good it didn't always work out ... curry Saturday night (1 onion bhaji, 1 poppadom, chick pea dahl and plain rice), Sunday lunch (OK lunch but followed by apple crumble and custard:eek:) but NO alcohol at all and all the rest of the meals weren't too bad. I'll just have to write it off and hope for the best - don't think it'll be a loss on the scales tomorrow at WI though:(

    Today I've had/will have ...
2 Alpen Light bars (B choice)
    grapes
    1 more B choice
pack of Ryvita minis (4 syns)
Leftover chick pea dahl (some syns but not sure how many)
Tesco Basmati microwave rice (1 syn)
    2 slices cheese (A choice)

Will have strawberries and banana for dessert later if still hungry.

    So that's......
    2 B choices
    1 A choice
5 syns (plus chick pea dahl syns)

Will report the damage tomorrow - think it will be the first week I haven't lost - booo!!! All Mum's fault!

I've been Money Tipped! Chutzpah Haggler
    I'm feeling very guilty

went to starbucks and had 2 venti skinny latte's with my friend (god knows how many syns they are) so skipped lunch to try and make up for it (not a good idea I guess, but i did only have 3 syns yesterday)

So today I have eaten, a shape yogurt for breakfast, hifi bar and mullerlight mid afternoon.

For tea, I made the butternut squash and bacon risotto from the extra easy cookbook which feeds 4, absolutely delish but I have eaten IT ALL!!!! I was so hungry, just kept going back until it was gone, then had a weightwatchers yogurt and now I'm stuffed but feel bad that I have eaten so much (even though it was free food)

Why on earth skip lunch - skinny lattes are dead low in syns - I think 3-4 for an average size one - and you can count 6 syns of it towards a healthy extra.

Honestly, starving at lunchtime will cause you to eat more in the evening, and won't do your blood sugar or weight loss any favours.

    *stern look*
