  • Baffled, there is no password for lifeline these days. You were given a PIN when you joined your class, and once you enter that on the SW website and then CHOOSE YOUR OWN PASSWORD you are in for good

Hmm... I definitely wasn't given a pin and I heard people talking about passwords when I was in class! Maybe they were talking about something completely different and I misheard! Haha! It was still passwords when I did it last time so I shall have to chase up on the PIN!
    Thanks!

    Hi all!

Just joined slimming world for the first time and trawling through the website figuring out how it works.

Just wanted to ask a question - how many of you do red/green as opposed to extra easy? I can't quite see why anyone would do red/green when extra easy allows you to eat both unlimited meat and carbs........ Am i missing something? Or is the weight loss quicker when you do red/green rather than extra easy?

All thoughts welcome - i am in for the long haul!

    Thanks
    BabyB

Hey baby B, I do both EE and green days:

Green days are cheaper- lean meat is expensive whereas quorn/ jsut a jacket potato
Green and red days demand less superfree- therefore a bit cheaper
Green days enable you to "use up" at the end of a skint month, without needing 1/3rd superfree
Some days I need snacks and green/ red offer that as they have 2 HEBs/ As
Greens are better for the veggies amongst us! :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Mum's have a lot to answer for don't they? :rotfl::rotfl: Mine always made porridge with Ideal milk and golden syrup in and it's the only way I like it now which puts it out of reach :(

My latest little treat, specially if I realise I haven't had (all of) my HEB today**, is to take a couple of pagen krisprolls and drizzle golden syrup down the middle. Leave for a few minutes so it soaks in, make sure they are upright or it runs off the side and thats a waste if you can't get your tongue to it. Then eat. 1 tablespoon of golden syrup is 2 syns and should drizzle down at least 2 maybe 3 krisprolls. So you get your sugar kick and your Healthy Extra!

** now I am at target I try to have 1.5 HEB a day, sometimes 2, to maintain my weight :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Did you go join a class after all then? I just thought you said you were doing it from books from Ebay.
you will definately have been given a pin with the little membership card that you use to pay & weigh in with (that they put in the machine).

I think the current thinking now is that you're still supposed to 'try' get you're 1/3 superfree in whatever plan you choose to do Lynz :o

I do think REDs for me have given me a bit of a boost with the losses when Ive had a heavy week of naughtiness...... but then again Ive been mighty hungry sometimes on them and ALWAYS eating (superfree fruit of course lol)

Greens do seem cheaper I agree, but I still always get my superfree in.

EE is definateley easier to do when cooking for more than just yourself.......its more 'normal' meat & 2 veg kind of stuff ;) BUT Reds/greens have the bonus of the 2 HEAs&HEBs GOD ITS A TOUGH CHOICE :rotfl::rotfl:

I know :D I always get more than a third SF anyway, but I think it is slightly easier on green. I still dont get red! I cant work lut what I would actually have apart from chicken salad. I dont see the point in synning potatoes, pasta rice etc when they are free on ee. then less syns available for choccy :)

I dont think I get reds either:o..... it must only work for me cos I havent had a spud or pasta or rice AT ALL while ive been doing them. I REFUSE TO SYN THEM WHEN THERE IS CHOCCY TO BE EATEN :rotfl::rotfl:

my menu on reds is usually something like (everyday for a week)

tuna/cucumber/onion in a wm asda pitta

    ham/tom/onion HEA cheese omelette

Mrsms Burgers in a wm roll with salad

asda chicken tikka slices salad yog/mint sauce

    porrige every morning with fruit

    fruit

    fruit

    yog

    fruit

apart from that im stuck for ideas :o :rotfl:
