Hi Rachel, I don't know about the choc drink either but isn't it amazing how much you can eat??? Strange you say that your consultant said 10 syns as I noticed that advised in ths month's magazine too. I still work on 85 a week so I'd hate to have less.

Good EE day for me today, no distractions:

B: NAS squash, beans, toast (HE) and tea with milk (HE)
    L:ham & marmite sandwich, grapefruit
D: chicken jumbalaya (my version has heaps of veg)
    Snacks: Shiraz

Anyone know who stocks Primula Light? I often see it in the magazine but Asda only does the full fat version.

    Hi and welcome Rachel!

Thanks everyone for the kind 'well dones' on my weight loss, was at work all day yesterday and my uniform felt a little looser which was good (as I was bursting out of it the week before lol!

Not sure what I'm having today but probably something like an omelette and salad for lunch, spaghetti carbonara for tea when I've been shopping for some ham later!

    Hi

I have been doing SW since January and lost 1st9lbs so far, but I think I will have to stop going to class as I cannot afford to pay for the weekly fee. So I think I shall join you all on here. I am hoping that I can manage to do it on my own rather than going to class as I think I am still motivated to lose the weight - I reckon I could do with losing another 2 stone.

Well done to you all for the weight you have lost so far, fantastic.

    Jo

Dizzy you poor thing - I would say I feel your pain but I must admit to being grateful I can't :rotfl:I have had neuralgia though and your descritption of being plugged into the mains just about covers it...ouch _pale_ Hope you're feeling better soon.

Its horrible isnt it :( part of My original Brain surgery involved placing some teflon pads under the trigeminal nerve to stop it causing the spasms when they removed the tumour......but the nerve has somehow grown around it they think (the spasms did stop for 18 months) so Im back to square one pain wise & appearance wise......and there is NO WAY im having another of the same op with what went wrong last time :( (not that they would attempt it so I'm told) Im just thankful My Neurologist at Leeds does the Botox clinic or I dont know what I'd do to be honest.

Ive just looked at the 'my supermarket' site. Sainsburys do the Primula light ;)

Well Ive just had a catch up on the Posts .......it was a bit quiet on here yesterday??

Im still waiting for my 'jabs' to work, hopefully it will be imminent, I can feel a bit of a difference in the amount of spasm in the corner of my eye so maybe by tomorrow the muscles will be 'paralysed' and no longer able to give me grief ;) Im also keeping a close eye (pardon the pun) on my eyebrows for the telltale signs of my left one dropping down more on a level with my right one :rotfl: (gotta laugh or I'd cry ......It hurts soooooo bloody much at the moment :o)

Yesterday I knocked up a pan of 3 tin soup (how very adventuous :p) but it was really very nice - even though the thought of a couple of pickled onions going in it was quite off putting  It was easy to eat, no chewing involved, and at least I was getting something in me between sleeping. tried a HEB wm roll but didnt get very far so had a packet of oatso instead.

I did manage to use a few syns too on 3 sachets of white choc options (these have been my new 8pm curfew treat, with a splash of milk from my allowance they really do hit the craving spot amazingly well......I think they also take me back to my childhood when my mum used to make me hot milk with sugar or golden syrup it in :p

Right Im going to TRY find at least part way down this pile of ironing today.......otherwise MrDizzy will be going to work in the Buff next week :rotfl:

Thanks for that dizzy. I was planning to go there this week for some special offer berries so I'll pick some up. I thought I'd like a ham and cheese sandwich and perhaps try it in a carbonara-type sauce. It seems to be syn-free from the recipes I've seen?

I do hope the effect of your jabs kicks in soon. I think you're a saint contemplating the ironing (although I can see that the consequences if you don't might be quite dire!:rotfl:)

Planning and EE day, as ever:
B: Ribena, scrambled egg, HE toast, tomatoes and mushrooms, tea with HE milk
L: ham, marmite and cucumber sandwich, apple & cottage cheese
D: SW chicken curry, rice and SW chips
Snacks: punnet of blueberries and may need some extra SF
    Syns:wine

Thanks Dizzy [hope you're pain free soon]
So if I add some plain cous cous and make into frittas they should be more or less free as I wouldn't eat the whole thing in one go but spread over the week [work lunches]. At half a syn for the packet it would be hard to syn each one, would probably be in the negatives anyway :rotfl:. Would syn the sun dried one though [just noticed the 1 before the half :o].
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Hello everyone,

Good week for me, another 2lb off. I've been to the gym twice and think that has helped.

    Green today:

Beans, Mushrooms, 2 eggs, 2 WM toast (2xHEB), light soft cheese (1)
    Tinned peaches, yoghurt (2)
Wholemeal pasta, passata, peppers, mushrooms, quorn southern strips (4.5), lettuce, tomatoes, low fat cheese (HEA)
Milk for tea (HEA) More yoghurt, tinned pineapple (2)

That's 9.5 syns and all my healthy extras

Thanks for the welcome guys. I decided not to have the hot chocolate in the end, and just stuck with water.

    EE again today:

B: Banana & custard muller light, raspberries
L: Beans, tinned tomatoes, egg (white only), bacon, 2 half fat sausages (5), 1 slice wholemeal bread (HEB)
D: Pork stir fry cooked in sweet chilli dipping sauce (1), egg noodles, fruit
Snacks: fruit, maybe a bag of french fries (4.5)
Drinks: Tea with milk (0.5), water

Still need to use a HEA, may have a glass of milk or milky hot drink later.
