    Morning all

Today Is a green day I think. ( was going to go EE but then realised not much fruit in! ) this is a "use up" type day.

Break: Tin of spaghetti on its own :S and banana and yog
Lunch Innocent veg pot ( 4.5 syn) and fibre plus HEB1
    2 Alpen lites HEB 2
    Diet coke galore :D
(Have done a ainsley CC- for when I get in and need to instantly eat - will add all salady bits to this)
Dinner Veggie chilli with quorn, chopped tom, onion, mushroom , beans, extra toms from the fridge chopped up. With Jacket pot and side salad lettuce, pepper, carrot, spring onion, radish - and maybe a taco shell 2.5 (?)

Syns 2.5+4.5 = 7 so that means I can have a dime bar or a 2 finger kitkat for dessert and still be under for today.

2 exams today so I am a bi antsy....Although bought a size 10 vest top yesterday and it looks brill :j

For new kitchen peeps who are struggling- what about ainsley CC ( I should work for these guys lol) as you only need the kettle for that, instant food and the spicy one is only 0.5 syn for the whole sachet.

Can I ask- are "Cup A Pasta" free on ee &* green? they are like pasta & sauce but mug style?

Anyway hope everyone has a great day - dont forget you are a big LOSER!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Morning all! I haven't be around for a while cos I was unable to move much last week (or sit still for that matter) as I had a pain in my neck (and not the OH for a change!)

Feeling very nervous about WI tonight, cos my last two weeks went like this:
    Bad week (Italy) - 0.5
    Good week + 1

So this week I've been all up and down - proper food mostly, but then had a hot dog on Sunday and cheese and ham panini and chips yesterday:eek::eek::eek::eek:. Now really wish I hadn't, but its too late! Also feeling pretty heavy cos I'm all bunged up (sorry if thats TMI), so know I will have put on AGAIN this week. Really need to get back to plan properly!

    So for today:

    B - nana, apple
    L - chicken pasta salad
    D - HM bolognese (2 syns)

    Snacks - strawbs, rasps, apple

I think I might try a super speedy week to give myself a kick up the backside, and start doing a bit more body magic!

Someone was mentioning mangos not being ripe - Mr S used to do frozen mango - they also do frozen peaches atm and of course cherries nom nom - normally 3 packets for £5 - not bad when a packet normally lasts me 3 or 4 servings (big portions as i have them for brekkie!) They are worth buying at this time of year when not alot else in in season & cheap!

Thanks for that nessie. I've been buying summer fruits from Asda at about £4 per kgbut will venture down to Mr S and take advantage of the offers. Basics berries look good value too. Anyone tried them?

    That's great news. Well done!

Hope you get on OK at the hospital dizzy, you've had a rough few days.

STS for me this morning, not bad considering quite a bit off plan. I've decided to stick with it right through the summer so I can offset any 'bad' periods on holiday etc

Do any of you use your local market for fruit and veg? I've started doing recently and its brilliant for me as I'm not into apples/pears etc!! I still get some stuff from the supermarket that I know I def need then go to the market and get whatever is a good offer! Just been now and got:

    1 large honeydew melon
    1 large pineapple
    3 HUGE oranges
    2 large mangoes
    2 big punnets rasps
A bag of grapes (about 1lb I think)
2lbs of cherry tomatoes (look like they're probably plum ones!)

That little lot cost me £8, I bet you could nearly double that for the same from the supermarket!!

Well done all the losers and strugglers alike :)

Had the best WI last night - got my 1st stone sticker and Slimmer of the Week to boot! Was so chuffed I was almost in tears and also came away with a huge carrier bag full of fruit and other food for being SOW. Felt it was taking ages to get to that first stone but now I feel really chuffed and the best thing is I'm happy with eating this way and don't feel that enormous pressure I did on other 'diets'.

Food plan slightly scuppered today as had chinese buffet for lunch - tried to be good though, avoided fried rice (well, it must help a bit lol) and had fruit salad for dessert ;-)
