After I contacted cs I have also just received an email stating they will honour the order. Nothing about the smoothie maker though so I am going to email them again.

Thanks to original op. £9.99 for a sonic toothbrush AND a smoothie maker is a great bargain!

Everyone that is getting replies I take it these are from Grattan and not Freemans I have had a reply from Grattan also to say that I will be getting the toothbrush at £9.99 but some snotty email back from Freemans it will be interesting to know if anyone has had replies back from Freemans.

I too emailed Grattans when I received the brush heads which I said must have been sent out by mistake as I had ordered an electric toothbrush at £9.99. I said the brush heads were no use as I didn't have the brush and when were they sending that out. Received email same day saying that they were sending out the brush at £9.99 and it arrived today! No smoothie maker though - may have to email and remind them about that!:)

Lets look at this another way, Grattans have generated a lot of potential new customers. By refusing to give the brush at £9.99 they risk losing the said customers.
So they give in and probably have not lost out, but they can also look at it in their advantage, by thinking well if the customers have the toothbrush for £9.99 sooner or later they will need the heads too.


Either way the free gift was 100% as this was the offer.


I wonder if my OP will go on the special £50 board.;)

Tried e-mailing Freemans but the account number which is on the delivery note will not work. As I never received an e-mail confirmation from them I think thats my last chance gone. Oh well in the recycle bin for the catalogue.

I got the delivery note last week saying that the BRUSHES would be with me shortly. I e-mailed Grattan saying I had order the toothbrush not the brushes and had a screen print and order confirmation to prvoe this. They e-mailed back saying they would cancel the order for the brushes and send me the toothbrush for £9.99 as I had ordered.
This morning the toothbrush arrived. Just got to wait and see what I get charged for it on my bill now but I have kept their e-mail so can't see how they can charge me any more than £9.99 now.
Just waiting for the smoothie maker now. Will have to e-mail them about that I guess.

Also just taken delivery of the toothbrush, £29.99 on the invoice although it's £9.99 going by the email they sent.

The smoothie maker isn't mentioned on the invoice as still to come like the brush heads were on the first one, it is mentioned on anyone elses?

Was just going to forget about this one til I read the messages on here. Emailed them and got a reply within 10 minutes. They are going to send the 2 I ordered when they come into stock, at £29.99 on the invoice but they will just charge the £9.99. Also the Kenwood Smoothie maker will be sent out soon. Result. Thanks guys.
