just received a welcome pack from grattans telling me that the HEADS are on the way..they will be going straight back and there was no mention of any free gift....

Received welcome pack too stating that the head are on the way, no mention of the free gift. No idea why the heads are out of stock as I was one of the first to order! Welcome pack is definatly going back, along with the heads when they arrive.0

I also got a welcome pack today, and an invoice stating the heads would come later. Not only is the order wrong, they're charging £9.99 for each item, when the site tallied it up at £9.99 for the entire order. I will be sending them straight back and also making a complaint.
..Though I might make another order for something cheap I will have use for just to get the smoothie maker.0 -
I contacted Gratten by email form on there web site about the miss price. When they replied asking for evidence which I sent them a copy of 2 print outs.
Today they have replied informing me that they will honour the price.

Having checked the email which you have forwarded to us of your order, we can confirm that we will honour the price of £9.99.
A reorder has been dealt. The toothbrush will come out with paperwork showing the item at £29.99, but when the item is despatched, an adjustment will be made to reduce the item to £9.99.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I sent both the head sets back - got my shredder (hand cranked!) today so hopefully I'll get the spa set as well for nowt.
Also sent back their email to them confirming the price of £9.99 for a sonic toothbrush - nothing ventured?0 -
Smoothie maker arrived. Queried with Grattans CS as to where the brush was and have been told that they are now aware of a problem with the website that day and will be honouring orders for the brush. Could take a day or two to hear something though.0

Argh that's great news, it sometimes pays to complain, firm but not angry with them.
I contacted them again about the smoothy maker as I sent the heads back the following day I wasn't sure what they will be doing about the free gift.

Wonder if they will do the same on freemans, problem is I never had a confirmation e-mail-just received the heads.Down south where, unfortunately, the government does remember us.0
