Ban Kids On Flights

I've taken an under-2 YO on a flight 12 times now. He sometimes cries on take off, but is generally pretty good. I am always prepared with a few books, crayons, etc. We have to entertain him (which means talking, reading books, playing games). On the last flight, a woman in the row behind was a nervous flyer. She cried on take-off, and threw up just after take-off. She caused way more disruption than our little one. On the plus side, she was more entertaining than we could ever be. Our kid wasn't interested in books, he wanted to see the sick woman.0

I remember once when I was at the airport in Dublin. I was in the queue for the flight back to England. I saw about 20-30 something kids on what looked like a school trip join the queue behind. My first thought was "oh god", even though it was a short flight. Luckily, due to nature of the queues in the area where my gate number was, I soon realised I was standing in a queue flying to Germany and not to England.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:D:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:jMe and the gang!!!0

Taking my daughter on her first flight in 7 weeks, I'll be as prepared as I can be but if she's crying after everything we've done then so be it. Not like people would have to listen to her for their whole holiday!
Ps - there's a good case for an adult only section on planes. No extra charge though.0 -
As a mother myself I feel disgusted at people wanting to ban children from flights. Were they not children themselves once or have they always been old. Children need to travel to gain valueble life experiences. If parents pay to take them on holiday good luck to them,I have took my son since he was three and will continue to do so. Why not ban moaning people without children off flights.0
