Thanks MWC and megela - really looking forward to it - and it doesn't matter if it rains!

1 hour and 50 minutes till I break up for 9 whole days - can't wait.

Have a lot of things to do, but also going to get some QT with DH - Spa Break this weekend and going out for the day on Wednesday for our Wedding Anniversary.

Treated myself to a new swimsuit for the spa break - had a £10 M&S voucher, so used that towards it. Also treated us to a dine in for £10 for tea tonight - DH still isn't fancying much to eat, but is still hungry (if you know what I mean) - thought I'd put a nice tea infront of him tonight that takes very little effort on my part!

£6.37 received from £co and transferred to the Deposit Fund - it seems to have been a very long month, with not alot happening on the money front.

Should improve next month with payday, 50ps and I'm doing a buffet at the end of next month - won't be much as its a small one for my cousin - but every little helps as they say.

    Happy Friday everyone!

    Hi

My week has gone too quick!!!

Had a lovely weekend at the spa - very relaxing - could have done with another night and some more treatments, but hey ho!

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and we went t the seaside for the day - and it was sunny!

More charity stuff to sort out today, just sick of it all - although I've done other things this week, I think this has marred my time off - not sure what to do about it all.

Must really get and do some housework today too - wish I was stopping in bed this morning or catching up with my dvds that I bought well over 12 months ago!

Been paid today, so at least that's something - not very much left in the account this month as its been a funny month all round with everything. £333.00 transferred to the Deposit Fund and I think there might be some 50ps to be paid in soon - going to check.

Anyway, off to update signature - will catch up with diaries as soon as I can.

Was it a milestone anniversary, or just another happy year? :)

Sorry I have been AWOL folks - been really busy.

Just popping on to say that DH has given me £100 (that he had back off the money his nephew owes him) to put in the account. Need to sort that out during the week.

Catch up with you all soon.

I am such a twonk sometimes!

Just popped onto our online saver account to see how much we have in the holiday fund and looking at the transactions list, I had totally forgotten that DH has been putting £50 extra a month in for the house fund.

I have had a trwl back through my diary and I think I included it in April's deposit, but May and June - NO!

So, off to update signature with £100.

Deposits at the bank will be done next week.

My brother and I are taking mum out for lunch today - happier days...

    My favourite sort :)

Glad to hear about your twonkery - hey - it's better to make a mistake that leaves you with more money?

    Thanks Ed and megela

Funny word, isn't it 'twonk' :)

As you say, at least it was in our favour...

Had a nice lunch with bro and Mum - we split the bill - so setting a standard for future meals out. I think Mum wants to go out every month and I know that I can spare the money to do this.

I've got a fundraiser coming up this weekend and Mum has expressed an interest to coming down (and it literally is down the road) - its great - sounds horrible, but she never felt she could do this before.

Healthy eating (well mainly) starts today - just want to increase veggies and trim carbs a bit as I tend to feel a bit bloated - I am not overweight, just need to be healthier all round.

So, today I have brought tuna salad - normal salad stuff with some extra mangetout and mixed pulses to bulk it out, emphasis on veggies and protein at lunchtime.

Tonight's tea is Crab Spaghetti - so having my carbs then - its a light sauce that just coats the pasta.

Popping down the bank tomorrow to pay in £120 (£20 from 50ps) for us for the deposit fund and a cheque for Mum. This will tip us over the £9k mark!

Starting to get back on track with stuff now and I know that I am still behind on diaries. Going to pop back at lunchtime to have a go.

    Hope everyone is well.
