    Its Friday!!!!

Tea tonight will be chicken, bacon and something - either pasta or rice - depends how DH is feeling as to what sort of meal I cook - he's still not feeling the best.

    Shopping later at Mr T.

Bit and pieces to do at the weekend, and I have decided to re-organise my time on a Saturday so I can get more Charity work done. I am just too tired on an evening and I don't always feel like it during my lunch hour - I need some respite.

So now its going to be chores, couple of hours of charity work, visit Mum and then catch up with friends - I need to do this so that a) I don't collapse with exhaustion and b) so that some good quality charity work is done over the coming months.

Slight spanner in the works tomorrow, as I've got to go to Dad's bank to get some transaction details, so I can fill out a HMRC form - but if I go up early enough, it shouldn't affect things too much.

    Happy Friday everyone!

    Hi megela

Yes, the FIL got home yesterday - DH still had to go up the hospital as they had sent him back with an extra bag of clothes!

Hope you have a good weekend too.

    Busy weekend.

Had to go up town twice on Saturday morning to sort Mum's ID out for the bank, so Dad's money can be transferred - all sorted now and she should get the funds within 14 days - not bad!

Sorted a load of charity stuff out on Saturday too and finally got to catch up with friends about 3.30pm!

Sad news again on Saturday too, our elderly neighbour over the road passed away. He was a lovely man and had been poorly for the last couple of years - such a shame - I did wonder what the ambulances and police cars were for in the morning. Hoping to go to the funeral, will have to wait and see what the arrangements are.

Sunday I actually managed to get a lie in and DH cooked me a lovely breakfast. We went shopping and I bought a new top (all of £14) - first time i've bought anything for myself in ages.

I then got my chores done and we went down MILs for tea.

Tonight, I have a charity meeting and tea will be Creamy Bacon & Leek Pasta with Pesto. Having a night off again from going to mum's, but will be going again tomorrow as I'll have another form for her to sign.

Hope eveyone is well and feeling positive for the week ahead. I had a lovely e-mail over the weekend from one of my Dad's friends and he said that I should think of something every day that I am grateful for and eventually I will smile again.

Todays thought is: 5 days till I break up for Whit Week. Yay!

    Charity meeting was frustrating...

Didn't sleep very well last night.

Bit upset today as I have been making copies of the funeral service for my Uncle's geneology book...its still really raw.

Filled out the HMRC form regarding dad's tax between 06 April and the day he passed away - just a couple of things I need to check with mum before finishing it off.

Tonight's tea will be pie, veggies and gravy - nice and easy and perfect for DH who is doing 'proper' manual work today and is going to continue this when he gets home chopping up a tree that he and the neighbour took down yesterday!

Debating whether I should do my big shop (or at least some of it) this weekend instead of next, so it doesn't interfere with my week off?

Nothing really going on money wise - just waiting for the end of the month when I'll see if I've got anything left to go in the pot!

Pie was nice and comforting, just what I needed.

Feel a bit better today - still tired though.

Have decided that I'm going to do my Mr T big shop on Friday (fortunately, I still have some money in the bank to do this) and then do my Herr A shop next week as usual.

Hoping the weather will be ok for the next couple of weeks, so I can get some stuff in the garden done.

Looking forward to payday next week.

Had lemon pepper chicken for tea last night - made a nice change!

LOs for lunch today with some noodles.

£co payment has left them and I am waiting for it to land in my bank account. (£6ish)

Again, not alot else to report on the money front.

Just going to call the spa where we are going this weekend and book out treatments.

Going to pick something up for tea from Herr A tonight when I go shopping.

    Hope everyone is ok.
