Its Friday!!!!!
£50 added to my signature today from DHs deposit into our joint account.
Herr A shop done last night - £23 ish. Had done some of my big shop last week to use my double points voucher (which hasn't been credited - boo) and that was £58 ish. Proper figures to follow.
Fresh shop at Mr T later and planning a trip to Morrisons tomorrow to spend my vouchers.
Went out to eat last night as DH went to drop his van off at his mate's mums (the mate he's now sold it to) and as it was nearly 9pm when we came away, we went to the pub for something to eat (was going to suggest it for tonight, but hey ho).
So last nights proposed tea becomes tonights tea - Turkey, Butternut Squash & Harrisa Cous Cous.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

So, went to Morrisons on Saturday with my friend - we didn't go round the whole store as we were pushed for time and we were actually trying to stick to our lists!
I was impressed with the range of fresh fish (managed to get some for my Dad) and the bakery products; but on the items I had ear-marked for buying, they were more expensive than Herr A where I usually get my pasta, rice, tinned fish, kidney beans etc... However, I did have the vouchers, so the price differental doesn't matter for the Saturdays shop - I did buy two things that weren't on the list - some smoked salmon trimmings and a packet of egg noodles (for my chinese buffet meal I'm doing next weekend) - but all in all it was a good trip and the 2 extra items only came to £1.98!
Grocery shopping stands at approximately £115/£200 so far. I have a visit to the butchers to make next Saturday (estimating about £10-12 spend) and then it will just be fresh bits and pieces I need for meals and lunches.
Also received my first Clubcard vouchers of the year, so I now have £12.50 stashed away.
Another week of charity work ahead of me:
- Tonight - fetch the carpet cleaner so we can do a job for our landlords (in lieu of rent) - hoping they will have one available at HBase so I can collect nectar points for me.
- Tomorrow - minutes of last meeting; return carpet cleaner
- Society Lottery Return - this week some time
- Another bid (sadly we got turned down for the last one - hey ho).
This week I also need to order some new printer cartridges for the colour laser - initial large outlay, but should last ages - best price is on amazon, so will go through nectar e-shops to get the points.
Tonights tea is Crab Spaghetti - I absolutely love this meal, its light, but filling and the carb hit will be just what I need to get a good night's sleep tonight!
Hope everyone's Monday's are going well.

mmm what sauce do you do with Crab spaghetti?
Hi Laura
The recipe is really simple and tasty - not too bad calories wise either.
Get your spaghetti on to cook. Then heat 1 tblsp olive oil in a large frying pan, add 2 cloves chopped garlic and a pinch of chilli flakes (turn heat down a bit as you don't want the garlic to brown) and cook for 1-2 mins. Then add 200g halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3 mins. Next squeeze in the juice of a lemon and cook for another 1-2 mins. By this time the spaghetti should be cooked. Drain and add to your frying pan. Then add the grated zest of the lemon, 1tsp of finely chopped capers (in vinegar not salt), a handful of basil shredded and a tin of crab meat. Mix together and serve - delish! Serves 2.
I didn't think I liked capers, but they are great in this dish.

Apart from Paycare refunding my dentist visit - £29, not much going on.
Got nectar points on the carpet cleaner hire last night!
HM Cottage Pie for tea tonight. Going to make the Pie and a Chilli at the same time, so there will be portions for the freezer for later.
Need to have a tidy round tonight, as I am going to be more pushed for time as the weekend rolls round and we have people coming on Saturday for our Chinese New Year Buffet.
Off to do the Charity minutes now.
Happy Tuesday all.

£9 something confirmed from £co that will be in my next payment - this was one of the ones I put a claim in for - so really pleased.:T
Checked the Online Saver this morning to make sure all the deposits were going in ok - they are...:)
2 portions of HM Cottage Pie and 4 portions of HM Chilli put in the upstairs freezer. Still emptying the chest freezer downstairs - getting there, but still a bit to go before I can defrost.
Pink Chicken on the menu tonight! (Its a french famhouse style chicken dish with red wine that makes the chicken turn pink when you cook it!) Going to do roasties and veggies with it.
Wednesday again - half way through the week and the sun is shining - I feel a bit better in myself today, I've got a busy few days ahead of me, but I don't feel disheartened about it - we will see what happens...
Hope everyone ok.

Just rung the estate agent to book a second viewing on that house and there's an offer been put in on it! I think I delayed too long before ringing them.
They said they'd keep me in the loop just in case, but I would imagine it will sell.
Oh well, back to the drawing board. Bit disappointed actually.
