  • Thanks ammonite and LauraW. Looking forward to it, but feeling slightly aprehensive all the same.

Sat in bed last night after I'd dropped DH up town and had me a fish finger sandwich for tea and did my best to put the charity business plan together. Put the laptop away at 11.45pm - DH came back 10 mins later and was very chatty just as I was trying to get to sleep!

The Business Plan is still work in progress, but hoping to get at least it finished to a standard where I can send it to a potential funder who my colleague may or may not be meeting with them on Tuesday if he can get to the funding fair. In any case the information should go to them today really to give them time, but I fear that its not going to get completed - if I don't get it finished by the end of lunch, I'll have to do a couple of hours tomorrow and send it off then.

Out for friends' birthdays tonight (and I do mean more than one on the same day!!!), plus its MIL's birthday too today! Need to sort out a quick tea for us tonight - will proabaly be stir fry or something.

£10ish spend on shopping last night so approx £91 so far this month - just a few fresh bits to get tonight from Mr T (and got to go back to Herr A as I forgot Dad's gorgonzola!)

    Tomorrow's list:

    -Cleaning & Washing
    -Mortgage Payoff!
-Visit to the butchers for some chicken
    -Visit Mum & Dad
-Catch up with friends and go to the cake decorating shop (need stuff for DH's nieces birthday cake)
-Finish Business Plan and send off - do copy for colleague and drop off (need to get this done before DH comes back on Sat evening).

Hoping everyone has a great weekend.

That is fantastico, you will no doubt feel more elated once it sinks in :)

I still remember pulling together the funds for our deposit in my current account - possibly the last time I'll see £20k+ all in one place!

Congratulations - enjoy the feeling - can't imagine actually knowing I own my whole house!!

We quite often have discussions over whose bedrooms the bank owns and whose we own!! This is my forever home and I just want the security of knowing it's all mine.

Enojoy going to work tomorrow without having to work 'x' amount of hours just to pay your mortgage!!!

Ed - still hasn't sunk in really. It certainly was strange to see that many figures in my bank/savings account - probably never to be repeated either - but you never know what the future holds...:D

GG - it was a bit early for a drink - but had a couple of glasses of wine in the evening...still don't feel any different really.

megela - I patted the wall when we got back and said to DH, "This is all ours now...", I don't think he can beleive it either...

MRN - cheers! Stage 2 involves saving the money we have been spending on the mortgage and the OPs towards a deposit on a new property (without selling the one we now own - boy that sounds strange!)
