I'd love to, MCI, but energy levels dictate not. Hopefully, this is the last summer things will be like that, a dose of retirement will do me the power of good :) Next year, dill will be on my menu, I promise :)

If I get some going next year - maybe I could send some to you ;)

    Happy hump day!

Plants shifted last night - shouldn't have to do this again this week...phew!

    £4.25 claimed from £co
£128 spent on a new vacuum

Few discussions about the kitchen last night, but nothing really decided on the tiles.

Pork Chops cooked in cider on the menu tonight.

Mortgage figure is now a nice round number - no extra pennies owed.

That would be lovely! Thank you! Lets keep in touch about that. I promise to take lots of pictures :)

Thats a great figure - ones and twos and zeroes, looks like the next step after binary :)

Enjoy the cider - my newly-married nephew only drinks cider nowadays, he suddenly became very allergic to any grains - cider to the rescue :)

    I like that figure too...

Managed to get a bit done to the study last night.

Box allocated for presents, another for keepsakes. Also sorted the box of stationary bits and bobs - I do have alot - another box allocated for ribbon and tissue paper!!

I am concentrating on the stuff that's on the floor rather than already on the shelves - though I have my eye on the box of suspension files (I don't need as many as I have - might have to give some away). I have also looked at some of the loose paperwork from our family friend's estate - one whole folder with correspondence to his accountants is allocated for shredding which I will do at the weekend. (Particularly as some of the correspondence was about when his nieces refused to take the money he had put into trust for them from his father's estate and they signed the money back over to him - this made me sad and angry :(- they got the money in the end when he passed away - but they were so ungrateful both back then and when he died - this paperwork is definitely best confined to the shredder...)

Hope to get a bit more done tonight, the floor is slowly clearing.

Small shop at Herr A tonight.

DH is cooking us a quick and easy tea - he thinks I should have a night off from cooking...

That's a very neat mortgage figure!

You always seem to have a lot going on, and I admire the way you get 'stuff' done

I really wish I could get more stuff done - there are just not enough hours in the day some times.

    But thank you Goldie :D

Well I just about forgot everything yesterday...bags to do the shopping, lists etc..

Got things sorted on the way to work this morning, but will still need to pop to the shops tomorrow to get foil and some face wipes...(unless DH has miraculously got them for me??!!)

Had a really bad night - not much sleep - don't feel too bad now, but I am hoping that yoga will liven me up a bit.

Going straight home so I can get some chores done before nipping to yoga. Well I say straight home, go to pop some paperwork through a friend's letterbox on the way home - but it is on my way round so shouldn't delay me.

Out for lunch with a friend tomorrow (it's all go) and then we are supposed to be going to a bbq (weather permitting) -but we will see about that.

Hoping everyone has a great weekend.

Letter from mortgage people - our term is now 21 years and 8 months

We started at 23 years last year when we moved in - so 4 extra months knocked off with the OPs we have done so far.

Going to be tough paying off in 10 years like I want to - DH says 15 - I think we may be meeting in the middle somewhere :rotfl:
