Your meal plans always sound so great. I could do with more fish in mine really.

Kitchen plans sound great, when do you think it will all be in?

I use the Maps app on my iPhone for Satnav, it works quite well (and free!) although I've been caught out a couple times when I haven't had a 3G signal!!

Thanks EatingTheElephant and thanks for stopping by - I like to try and keep things interesting and I like to try new things when I'm in the mood. We love fish and I try to incorporate as much as I can into the mealplan.

We are hoping that we will have the kitchen sorted by the middle of July. We are going to start ripping the kitchen out when we get back from holiday at the beginning of June. Sounds like a long time, but we have to keep in mind that DH will be taking the kitchen out and the guys doing the gas & electrics have full time jobs, so could take a while to get that done. Kitchen is booked to come at the end of June and then we anticipate a couple of weeks to fit - I hope it doesn't take that long, but I know how things normally go for us so would rather over estimate. Should be good when it's all done though.

I am restricted with how much data I can use with the maps app as I have a works phone and the boss would go crazy if I go over my allowance. We both find it easier to have a separate device.

Back from the Toy Fair. We didn't do too badly considering that most of the items sold were of low value. We made £173.50 - so after expenses we are going to be able to bank £150 towards the kitchen fund. Not as much as previous fairs, but not bad really - it all helps.

Done a bit of potting for the charity plant stall and rang my Godmother's daughter regarding some flowers se was after for the funeral - I've managed to get her the forget-me-nots she was after and even better, they were reduced...

Ordered a dress for the funeral, have to collect from store on Tuesday - I hope it isn't delayed! In true MSE style it was in the sale and I went through £co - only spent the grand sum of £12.60, but it was just what I was looking for - not too somber.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Not feeling the best. Combination of not eating very well on Sunday during the day, feeling a bit run down and a bit churned up about what awaits me this week.

Off down the town at lunchtime to pay in and pick up a birthday card for my work colleague. No 50ps yet - we are still £3 short of the £20.

Hope everyone has a good week - not sure how much I'm going to be on this week, but hope to catch up with everyone at some point.

Take care of yourself MCI - and that includes eating well and taking vitamin tablets if necessary. The week ahead *is* going to be stressful, there's no doubt.

I remember like it was yesterday at my BiL's funeral, his daughter handed out paracetemol like they were sweeties (she was in her 20s, I hasten to add) - for the headaches that the day would inevitably bring. I wouldn't do it on normal days, but I took some them. Stay hydrated too, with water.

    Sending love.

    Thanks KC

Eating better today (veg soup for lunch) and I've had my vitamins today :)

I will have some tablets on standby for Wednesday - don't like taking them either - but sometimes needs must.

Thanks for your support and your kind words.

Well the meal plan has gone to pot already - cheap and cheerful it was last night, so Sausage Pasta will be tonight's offering instead.

Dress arrived in time for tomorrow's funeral and I've tried it on - it's fine - so another thing ticked off the list.

Must do a bit of planting tonight and sort out stuff ready for tomorrow.
