You had a C3PO to sell? I'm glad I didn't know, I don't want more coming *into* the house :) good for you for sending him onwards.

Cardboard cut out KC - had a whole line of them up the stairs at the old house, plus DH had a couple of duplicates from when he lived at his Mum's. We decided to sell them apart from R2 - who will sit at the top of the stairs to the attic.

DH has a friend who owns a Vintage Toy shop and he agreed to sell them for us. Only got Princess Leia left now, they have been steadily selling since Force Awakens came out. They also came in handy when there was a feature on the toy shop in the local paper and Darth Vader & C-3PO were used in the photo!

Very tired today - had about 3 hours sleep. DH was the same - he had stuff to do with work whizzing round in his head and he got up at 3am to go and sort invoices he'd brought back with him!

I just tossed and turned until the alarm went off and then I drifted off - but the cat was having none of it! Had to get up anyway - but why does that always happen??

    No money news.

Lamb Koftas for tea tonight - not sure whether to go for easy (salad and pitta) or cous cous and veggies - I'll decide later depending on how tired I am.

    Hope everyone is well.

Salad & Pittas it was - DHs choice - Lamb Ragu also made and frozen for later in the month.

£38.45 cash back received off the holiday! and transferred to the Kitchen Fund.

Feel a bit better today, had a late night, but slept much better.

Out for something to eat tonight as our pay day treat - not cheap and cheerful - something a bit more special, but probably still pub grub!

Need to get my menu plan done for May...

    Happy Friday everyone!

It was cold and wet up the allotment last night!

The greenhouse was slightly too tall for the van - so roof removed and DH not happy! As he's got to put it back together now and it was difficult (to say the least)!

Still a few bits in the shed to bring back - will do this in the morning.

I have a conservatory FULL of allotment bits and pieces - so I know what I'll be doing at the weekend!

Really can't wait to get started on our garden now - be ok if it didn't keep snowing and hailing. The theory is that we will have blistering summer after all this changeable weather - lets hope so!

Meal plan for the month done - right up to when we go on holiday.

Forgot my clubcard - so will only be getting the essentials today and not a big shop, don't want to miss out on my points or my discount coupon I have - most of the shopping was done at Herr A last night anyway.

Rent received and we will be able to make our first OP soon...

And once the money shuffle is completed I will be able to add £150 to the house fund from my pay rise.

So glad it's Friday and that we have a long weekend ahead.

Happy Bank Holiday weekend to one and all.

Hya! Hope everyone had a fab weekend!

Not been feeling too well over the weekend, but we still got quite alot done.

Greenhouse is now back together (thanks DH) and I have re-potted loads of veg plants and they are now where they belong in the greenhouse (some of them have perked up already!)

Yesterday we went to a local food/craft fair - we planned to have a snack at lunchtime, but it was wet and all the restaurants were full and so we ended up getting some bits from Mr T and having snacks at home.

We then settled down and watched Force Awakens (again).

I really hope that my stomach doesn't continue to play up (DH has been the same) - it's most annoying - haven't lost my appetite as such, but I am being careful what I am eating.

Cheeky £4.66 moved to the kitchen fund (interest from joint current account).

New 0% credit card has been applied for and accepted - will be transferring balance as soon as it's all set up.

    Hope everyone is well.

    - Prescription fetched!
    - Filled up with fuel!
    - Pottered in the greenhouse - cucumbers, more courgettes and pea shoots and marigolds planted (hope the marigolds do better this time round!)

Feeling a bit better, but still being careful what I eat...

Need to drop some plants off later for our charity plant stall we are doing tomorrow (taking advantage of our HQ being a polling station!)

Also going to a treatment launch at our local salon. They are doing a raffle and the proceeds are going to our charity (lovely people). Me and the girls use the salon anyway and we like to support them where we can - nice to get something back - completely out of the blue.

Chicken Dinner tonight! We have stuck to the meal plan for a whole week - go us!!!
