I wasn't that impressed with the new Avengers film either, felt like it was just passing through, till the next one

Impressed on all the packing/sorting that you are doing, hope the conservatory doesn't take to long for them to sort out

I enjoyed the Avengers film, but it was no where near as good as the first one. Especially as I'd watched the first one the night before on TV! It was a pleasant distraction all the same.

I really hope it doesn't take long to sort out the conservatory - apparently it's quite a common problem.

    Quick Update:

    - Still waiting for documentation off the solicitor.
    - £156.50 added to house fund - probably my last decent deposit for a while.
    - £200 left in joint current account for extra interest we expect to pay on our first mortgage payment.
    - Appointment made with our Mortgage Advisor for Friday 12 June to finalise details.
    - 20 years with DH today - celebrating by going through some more boxes from the loft lol (Got a nice meal planned and we will treat ourselves to a glass of vino).

Salmon with Herb & Lemon Crust on the menu tonight (Salmon from the freezer, Crust from a tub I found in the cupboard!)

Documentation received via e-mail last night from the solicitor.

£co payment of £25 and some pence requested (this will take us over £2.5k for renovations and stuff we need for the new house).

    And the jobs continue:

    - Some of the garden cut back yesterday.
    - Some plants dug up and potted so I can take with me.
    - All empty pots, trays etc.. packed in the boot to go up the shed in the allotment for now.
    - Joint of pork from the freezer cooked in the SC.
    - Few things confirmed from the solicitor, but still a couple to go - t least things are moving.

    Jobs for tonight:

    - take said pots up the allotment
    - go through boxes in the loft that I didn't get done the other night
    - bit of housework
    - LO Pork to be used in an egg fried rice for tea
    - Start planning wedding buffet I'm doing on 8 Aug

    Phew!

:rotfl: see what you've done there...

For your information ;) it was a jar of lemon and herb fish seasoning that I found at the back of the cupboard - and yes - it was delicious :p
