Tried the Hello Kitty Body Butter last night - oh boy! was it cherry flavoured :rotfl: It smelt exactly like the cherry sherbet you used to get with those 'Double Dip Swizzler' sweets - really powerful and sweet  I went to bed smelling like a sweet shop :rotfl:
I have a confession to make Ive totally fallen in love with my newest purchase - cocoa body butter, smells lovely - almost edible, OH just remarked it smells like white chocolate mice! - funnily enough it says on the bottom 'This is not a food' :rotfl:
Honestly don't think its going to last very long because I could use it all day long
Have to admit it was a bargain at 99p in bodycare - that shop is fantastic (or evil whichever way you see it)

While trying to keep on topic
has anyone ever used toiletries up on smelly dogs? I sometimes resent paying the price for "dog" shampoo.
not sure about using our stuff on dogs but i know when we were kids my mum used to use dog shampoo on us so that we didnt' get nits. Seemed to work, but you probably would get in a lot of trouble these days if you tried it.0 -
I have a kind of swapsie but one out and one in :pTook an item back to B**ts, a gents item that was never going to be used and swapped for a deodorant, chocolate
and a few bits and bobs of essential lady items, all will be used so that's a plus! :T
Trudij - I've found that cheap Tesco Tea Tree shampoo is as good as any premium horse shampoo, I think it's about 60p, it's what I use for mine if they need to be washed off in the summer.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Soon I shall go and procrastobathe ( I have an essay to do about prisons(!) and i'm on to the boring theory bit now) doubt there will be a UU, but still let's keep positive!

Think something really wierd has happened this week, after the misery of the begining my OH has encountered a string of incredibly good luck, firstly his work got printed in a magazine, then he got featured on a very well known website (in the industry at least) and today he just found out he won a design competion he entered last year, and on top of that found out yesterday some of his work might be published in a book...Its a strange world!
Brilliant - its such a nice feeling to know that others think the work you do is great :T:j:j:j
My In-Laws won the Lab Retrevier comp yesterday - it was really weird to see them on the tv last night :rotfl:
trudij - Great news about Red :j:j
In laws did well :T:T
And definately good news about red :j
I've opened both gift sets I got yesterday -In the past I'd have "saved " them.

Phew! Few days missing and just look how much there was to read! I'm sure I'm going to forget to comment on stuff I ought to, but what I can remember follows:
And brilliant news about your sister! Charlie condolences - losing any member of the family is always tough whether they have two legs or four.
Trudij glad to hear things went well for Red - you'll be pleased to get her home now I bet! Following on from Assett's comment about the tea-tree shampoo, I would think this would do an excellent job to ward off the flies too. Congratulations to your inlaws Sarah - you'll be glued to the screen for the best in show as well then no doubt!
Celebrate - well done on closing the Lloyds window - looking at the site a little earlier I should think the temptation won't be so great now - just looks like a lot of old tat they have left there now!
Nothing much to report here - nothing else spluttering or, so far as I can recall, even getting close to spluttering. I intend to go through my holiday toiletries stash at some stage soon so might list that on here as I go.....:o🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

i washed my hairbrush last night - OMG :eek::eek::eek:!!!!!
will definitely be doing it at least once a month from here on in, and it's another way of using up shampoo0 -
Just thought I'd check into the thread - realised I haven't posted anything in March! This thread has had me laughing and feeling sad by turns. I hope everyone who has had bad things happen is feeling a bit better and everyone who is doing well carries on.
I have been guilty and bought a limited edition Sweet & Shower (shower gel) from Lush - thought I'd missed out as it was sold out everywhere but I had to go to Guildford for work purposes and thought I'd just pop into Lush to see... sure enough they had three tubs left and I bought one! I really didn't need it but it smells so delicious I don't regret it!
I'm a bit worried about one of my friends. She's Japanese and lives in the area which has been hit. Loads of people have posted concerned messages on her Facebook profile but she hasn't replied yet. I hope she's okay.Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225
