Oh man its sooo late and Ive not had lunch, never do on fridays as OH doesnt come home so I loose track of time! Might have to be a cheeky Mc D's or something but shhhh don't tell OH (Im meant to be attempting to loose weight
). Am going to town now so wish me luck guys! got a £10 clothes voucher the £30 BS to spend lets hope I don't spend anymore than that
MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11
Aug 2014 £114,750 -35 yrs (2049)
Sept 2016 £104,800
Nov 2018 £82,500 -24 yrs (2042)0 -
How can something that has on SPF protect from the sun  I'm talking about the No7 hair protecting spritz I bought for €0.45 using a No7 voucher at Boots, the one mentioned as a good bargain buy on the Boots thread. It's a big 200ml bottle and sounds a bit useless so I don't think it's a great thing to be stocking up on if you have No7 vouchers to use.
I saw that hair spritz recommended too and was thinking about trying it but in the Boots where I work it would have cost UK£1.50 -over 3 times what you pay for it - blooming cheek!! I was thinking it may be useful for frizzy hair as just an oil type product to calm it down a bit - has anyone used it?
Had a very NPI (near purchasing incident for newbies) today in Tescos...radox smoothies and bubble bath reduced....I don't have any bubble bath but have loads of shower gel which I am using and quite happy with....I pictured myself taking it home and putting it way in the back of my cupboard not to get to it for another year...then thought of all the people on here with 30 shower gels in their stash......and put it all back!! :T
I did buy disposable razors. Flipping cheek though, the womens pretty pink ones are twice the price of those in the mens section - you guessed it - I got the mens!!
BTW can someone explain the family abbreviations - DH and DD?? Domestic horrors and devils??:eek:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

DH - darling husband
DD - darling daughter
Im sure someone will correct me though! EDIT: Someone did correct me haha, Ive thought it was that for ages!
....
I was very good in town (well mostly) I got OH 3 tubes of toothpaste as it worked out cheapest to get the 3-4-2 in boots which also got me lots of points :rotfl: (is it just me or is this smiley rolling faster than usual??)
I do have to admit I got a second copy of glamour but only because I desperatly wanted the lipgloss with wand which I finally found! :T - actually I was VERY good here because I almost picked up another copy as they had 2 of the superbalm stuff too but decided I didn't need 3 copies of the same mag, otherwise OH will think Ive gone loopy!
Also got the MC with the cowshed body lotion - I don't actually have that much body lotion
In the MC there is also an offer to get a free Bare Escentuals sample and brush
Also didn't get a Mc D's and got a roll from Greggs instead so bit more healthy..
Think something really wierd has happened this week, after the misery of the begining my OH has encountered a string of incredibly good luck, firstly his work got printed in a magazine, then he got featured on a very well known website (in the industry at least) and today he just found out he won a design competion he entered last year, and on top of that found out yesterday some of his work might be published in a book...Its a strange world!
EDIT: Can anyone tell me what to get in the BS with my voucher! I felt totally lost in there and didnt buy a thing
Oh and also got a £5 No7 voucher from boots, any recommendations?MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

It's been one of those weeks. After the horror of events in Japan I'm thrilled to read some good news. Part of me is thinking I shouldn't be trivial but I cannot change anything and it won't help to be sad.
Wonderful news for your OH, Charlie - I should have done multiple quotes.
My on topic news.
Cut open the conditioner that came with the Perfect 10 to discover enough for two more uses, woo-hoo. Of course, rather than use it once a week as it should be used, because of The Cleaner Who Chucks it will be used up VERY soon. She is not getting her mitts on a third product that's not ready to be chucked!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

:j:j:jHere is a link to the one I have, it's half price at the mo (I remember I got it for about £5.00 though) : http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Compact-Hair-Trimmer_46120Are you using a body scrub more than you used to. This can decrease the amount of moisturiser you use as you wouldn't be applying it to dead skin cells IYKWIM.
ahhh! That would be it then - I am using a scrub at least twice a week nowhas anyone ever used toiletries up on smelly dogs? I sometimes resent paying the price for "dog" shampoo.
I used to use Alberto Balsalm (sp?) Tea Tree Shampoo for my two. Then our local animal charity shop got a load of really good products in for 50p a bottle so have been using that since but now that Tix has Cushings his skin is so thin and his fur is so fragile I'm thinking of getting something like Boots Expert Sensitive for him.
My In-Laws won the Lab Retrevier comp yesterday - it was really weird to see them on the tv last night :rotfl:
Tried the Hello Kitty Body Butter last night - oh boy! was it cherry flavoured :rotfl: It smelt exactly like the cherry sherbet you used to get with those 'Double Dip Swizzler' sweets - really powerful and sweet  I went to bed smelling like a sweet shop :rotfl:
One freebie IN today - a sachet of the new Garnier Intensive 7 Days Body Lotion. It came with the Tesco magazine.
trudij - Great news about Red :j:j0 -
