Another pamper night for me - combination of a tough week and a strong desire to get my stash down to a less embarrassing size! Resulted in one UU though. Avon Skin So Soft Shower Gel. WNBA as it didn't really smell of anything (although that could be down to the age of it - must have had it about 3 years!). Onto Sanex now - not very exciting but I know it does the job on my dry skin. Off to slather myself with Clarins body lotion and then go to bed! Night all.

    Xx

Had the same prob with that shower gel last night too! I'm sure it used to smell lovely (why else would I have stocked up?), but tbh I was thinking to myself why using it "why did I like this?"

I've got a new one that arrived a few days ago (ordered before I realised I still had some in the stash) so I'll try that one soon and see if thats ok. if so, then the others must've just lost their scent.

Kaz - it's really not that bad - and if you have children you owe it to them to look after yourself (yes, I will use any low handed tactic and threat it takes to get you there!)

Sounds like you need a new GP surgery though. Find one that books appointments each morning for the same day. Mine started doing this due to the number of people that don't turn up.
And believe me, they really don't rumage around. It's usually the female nurse and what have you got that she hasn't seen a million times before...don't make me bring up Jade Goodie.

Anyway, some years, it's the only visitor I get down that way so good to check it's all still in working order !! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

    Cool stash MoenyQueen!!!!

Great news about your sister And :)

Hope everthing goes well with Red trudij

Kaz, funny you should have an 'accident' with the microwave tonight as, erm, so did I! Whacked something in, carried on reading a book, looked in the kitchen to see clouds of yellow smoke :rotfl:The whole flat absolutely STINKS now :rotfl:OH was not impressed with how easily distracted I am :D

Wow thats an impressive number of UU in one go!!

What colour did your bath end up with all the different ballistics in it? It must have smelled amazing!!

It was a pretty heady strawberry scented bath! And turned a fuchsia pink colour!

Still think I'm going to sell a large portion of my makeup stash soon, I just don't really need it all! Although I am making an effort to use bits and pieces up.

Oh and I'm loving the Redken CAT treatment, I really think it's helping my hair grow a bit faster (had a really awful haircut 3 weeks ago, ended up having 5-6 inches cut off which is NOT what I asked for, or needed really) and it's already almost at shoulder length again. Only have one shampoo and conditioner left to use (which are almost half done anyway) so I can go and buy new hair stuffs! Think I might invest in some more Redken stuff at that point.

I don't have a top lip problem - mine's on my chinny-chin-chin :o :rotfl: Would it work there too? I'm asking for Boots vouchers for my birthday so could have a look then :D[/COLOR]

Here is a link to the one I have, it's half price at the mo (I remember I got it for about £5.00 though) : http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Compact-Hair-Trimmer_46120/
Talking of Body Butter - I have noticed that this tub has lasted me longer than the last couple - I wonder if it's because I'm now using it (almost) every day I need less??

Are you using a body scrub more than you used to. This can decrease the amount of moisturiser you use as you wouldn't be applying it to dead skin cells IYKWIM.

Can anyone recommend a cheapish eye cream. I don't use one at the moment but think i probably should. Has any one tried the S&G one? My skin is quite sensitive and prone to spots.

Do you mean whiteheads? I'm prone to these around my eyes as well. The eye cream I like best is the LE Daily Eye Relief as it's really light and very hydrating. It's not cheap though. I've tried the Boots Vitamin E one as well (and have some of this to go back to once my LE is used up) and don't rate it as much. It's more watery. Can't wait to try the Clinique one that came with Glamour mag although whether I'd stick with this I don't know as no doubt it's going to be more expensive than the LE one.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Sorry to hear about your hamster charlie, hope you feel better soon.

Good look with your mare trudij

Get well soon to anyone who needs it, hope you feel better for the weekend

Celebrate - stay off the Lloyds website for the sake of you sanity

On the subject of pets I bought my dog a belated christmas/birthday present yesterday - a new bed. He has had to wait ages because I couldn't find what I wanted but found a fab one in Pets at home, not cheap but waterproof on the top and bolstered all around the sides, non slip on the base and then it opens up into a fleecy thing for when he's dry and clean. They had thought of everything, you could tell that someone had struggled with wet, dirty dogs making a mess of their beds.

    Sounds fab! :j
I've tried various dog beds and they now have plastic beds with cheapy pillows inside (or our old ones) and pillowcases. I wash the cases once a week and replace the pillows when needed. At around £3.50 - £3.99 for two pillows, that works best for me.

If money was no object though I'd get something like yours, but for 2 dogs (needing 3 beds - as one sleeps upstairs at night) it'd be a luxury.

While trying to keep on topic :D has anyone ever used toiletries up on smelly dogs? I sometimes resent paying the price for "dog" shampoo.
