 wow two days away and it's taken me all evening to catch up with this thread! lol
I have a couple of Olay mini sample INs to report.
I decided against the Asos offer.
Still have 2 x Body Shop Groupon to use, haven't been in store this week but wondered if they might have a good deal on the run up to Mother's Day?
I work in the centre of town and it's hard to avoid the shops at lunch time. Ihave joined the local university gym that had a special 6 month membership on and go to lunch time classes so avoid the shops. :T It's helping although I then get home and read the Grabbit board and try not to get caught up with things there!
Definately trying to save or accumulate some money in the next few months, I made offer on a house today, got it for about 1/3 less than asking! :jbut conclude in 5 weeks (yikes!).
I have so many items that I need to sell, like 12 BS full size hemp hand cream, they are £10 each so that's £120 sitting in a box in my bedroom so will need to be careful and be sensible with my purchases!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Holding my breath for Reds, Trudi.
But on the Really Good News front, my sister was told that tests show that her breast cancer (diagnosed last month and operated on last week) has not spread from the breast. The tumour was 6mm, initially picked up on a mammogram at 4mm.
Definitely worth keeping your appointments to have them done, once you reach a Certain Age.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Goodness, all I did was commute, have dinner and watch a bit of telly and already I'm way behind with so many goings on!!
Charlie - so sorry about your hamster. I used to keep hamsters but I was a rubbish owner so don't any more. I had one who had a cyst on his paw. The vet operated to remove it and over the next few weeks his tiny paw went black and fell off. He did ok though and lasted for ages.
I'm glad the losing pets theme didn't go on for too long cos it's just too sad. Please, no more...:(
Kaz - I haven't heard that expression for years -
'back, sack and crack.' Hilarious!
Celebrate - OK - the Lloyds stuff you ordered was before you joined our thread, but you are here now, so you need to take a long hard look at your new INs and think about what to do with them.
Brilliant the first reply who said to put in your car boot to take straight back (sorry can't find who that was now...)OMG why am i browsing the lloyds website??? just checking my orders and put another £16 stuff in my basket
somebody shoot me!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
If it comes to it, we may have to- or at least remove your credit cards.....;)
Did anyone watch the Comic Relief Programme tonight. I think it has just worked an instant cure to my spending on cr*p for a good while.
I am really a tough cookie (except when it comes to my pets) but I cried at Lenry Henry helping that orphaned family. I just logged on tonight to gift aid my text donation.....couldn't log on without popping in here of course...I'm not one to preach (would be far too hypocritical) but talk about putting my day into perspective....goodness...Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

VERY wise words. I promise to listen to your advice. And so does everyone else on here right? And same with smear tests - we will need some more amusing stories from these....

Another pamper night for me - combination of a tough week and a strong desire to get my stash down to a less embarrassing size! Resulted in one UU though. Avon Skin So Soft Shower Gel. WNBA as it didn't really smell of anything (although that could be down to the age of it - must have had it about 3 years!). Onto Sanex now - not very exciting but I know it does the job on my dry skin. Off to slather myself with Clarins body lotion and then go to bed! Night all.

*whispers*
I've never had a smear test. I was always either on my period or pregnant when they first sent them out. I now have the coil and still can't predict wioth any great certainty when I'll have a period. My GP's are awful too and it is impossible to get an appointment without turning up with your leg hanging off. They're so bad that they refused to see very poorly DS (born 19th December) on 3rd of January as he was "Not actually a real person". Fortunately for the receptionist, there was glass between she and I. Unfortunately for her, my midwife walked in half way through the conversation. Just as I was saying, "Let me just confirm. You are DENYING my son access to medical treatment, is that correct?" She confirmed and my midwife and I both very quickly reminded her that she is absolutely NOT allowed to do that.
Anyway, don't want people like that rummaging round my bits ta very much. Why can't they do it when you're in labour.
The waxing went well. THanks for the tips about dry skin, it didn't mention that, just that it had to be clean.

Happy Birthday Pudsey :bdaycake:
Thank you
Ha! Mine are the same - the litle one just goes and sits by the dog cupboard when he thinks it's treat time :rotfl: The big one runs upstairs and sits in her basket (or on our bed) when I get a treat out as she knows that where she has to be to get one. However! The treat cupboard is also the tins/packets cupboard so every time we get a tin or packet out she runs and sits upstairs :rotfl:
Aww - clever doggy
I use them for the same thing - stops OH moaning about the towels :rotfl: I must have half a dozen in various stages of knackeredness
My daughters love these - cos they cant keep normal towels on their heads for long!
Hugs to you charlie for your hamster - Losing a pet is heartbreaking
I agree - I've lost a couple of rats recently
Right - OH is off the phone to his mother (they just won Best in Breed at Crufts :j:j:j:j) so I'm off to catch up on the goss and then go for my bath.
oooh - what breed is that?mcculloch29 wrote: »Holding my breath for Reds, Trudi.

Fantastic news! :j
Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes.Spent the day visiting my best mate and went for lunch in Asda and a spot of shopping. She got a new outift and I stocked up on dog food.
And........I got some toiletries!! :j And I'm not going to feel guilty cos its my birthdayand they're things I would never dream of buying for myself. My mate got me a Sanctuary gift set and my sister got me an Elle McPherson gift set.
I'm gonna apply the pink candle philosophy and use them and enjoy :TXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0
