    Nice stash Moneyqueen !!

Huge hugs for the hamster - I used to have them, and its amazing how much of a hole they leave when they go :(

Happy birthday to all birthdya girls!!

I had a UU this morning - my waitrose plum and mimosa bubble bath - WIBA?? yes - quite liked it. got the remains of the clemantine one and my ted baker bottle to go yet though - so not yet.

two more ins too - the moisturisers with G mag - think i like the moisture surge best with what its done to my cheeks so far - i do use it just as a moisturiser though dont i???

just read someone mentioning using coconut oil as a hair mask, but i can't find the post again.
It's reminded me i have a tub of coconut oil it's almost like lard that you have to warm in your hands, is this the same stuff? How do you wash it out, i can imagine it taking an absolute age.

It might be gone solid because it's cold. Put it by a radiator or in the hot press and it might become liquid again. Try putting it on dry hair and leaving overnight, then wash hair as normal in the morning.

The animal stories are just too sad:(

So, I've got wax to play with. Kids are safely in bed now, DD having chosen to go and do Maths at 7.30 and DS staying up to watch the delectable Professor Cox until bed.
Had a lush bath (please note, lush as in "gurt lush!" not the shop, I'm from zummerset) with my Yardley Lavender soap and got DH to get in and wash while I melted the wax. I gave him his washing instructions as I'm going to do his back.

I then read and re-read the instructions.
Popped it in the microwave and after about 10 seconds the microwave caught fire .
I hasten to add that this is NOT due to the wax or misuse on my part, it was obviously it's time to die but wow- talk about timing :rotfl:.
I hot footed it up the stairs to tell DH to take as long as he wanted as the microwave had died. 30 seconds later he's downstairs in his pj's checking out the melted remains. He's now gone to Asda to buy a new microwave.
I wasn't actually going to replace the microwave after this one died as I had a plan for prettying and shabbying up the utility room where it lives. He must really want his back waxed :rotfl:. Although he declined the offer of back, sack and crack ;).

As he was leaving he asked what I was doing, so I had to tell him I was just telling you all because you'd laugh espescially as I only confessed to the ins today. He just sighed and went out shaking his head. Poor chap, he's got the patience of a saint that man :rotfl:.

    Happy Birthday PudseyDB,

Has anyone got any tips on how to make lipstick stay on longer? I've got some lovely lip colours - but I don't like to keep re-applying lipstick all day long - any ideas?

This works for me, I apply lipstick then blot my lips with a tissue, I then re-apply a further coat of lipstick.

Another trick I use is a lip pencil applied to the whole lip area.

Another idea make up artists use is to apply your foundation to your lips as a base.
