ok do you guys want to see just the toiletries stash or "everything" stash??????
All of it obviously:rotfl:
Kaz wax doesn't work on damp freshly washed skin, it needs really dry skin to stick to (for when you get the new microwave)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
didn't want to be too harsh Celebrate but you sounded like you needed help there.
Filling a virtual basket with your goodies in the house may be the way for you to go in the future???0 -
Happy Birthday Pudsey :bdaycake:Still havent shifted off my bum yet - and there's a dog staring at me waiting for her 10pm snack!! She usually knows its 10pm (somehow!!) but she seems eager tonight!!
Ha! Mine are the same - the litle one just goes and sits by the dog cupboard when he thinks it's treat time :rotfl: The big one runs upstairs and sits in her basket (or on our bed) when I get a treat out as she knows that where she has to be to get one. However! The treat cupboard is also the tins/packets cupboard so every time we get a tin or packet out she runs and sits upstairs :rotfl:

I have several customers who buy the Avon one when it's on offer.
Aha! I've found itI know it wasn't there when I placed my order last month or I would have got some then
I've had a go with the Avon Connect thingy - doesn't make much sense
None of the reps in my area seem to have done anything beyond registering and when I tried to send a message it wouldn't let me because we are not friends
Gonna get OH to ask if anyone is/has a rep at work tomorrow and see if I can place an order that way - otherwise I'm hanging on for the next Free Delivery WYS £5EssexHebridean wrote: »How are your hands now by the way? Hope things are improving now. Most outdoor shops do small pocket size handwarmers which you just "snap" a metal disc inside to activate - they are quite good. You reactivate them afterwards by simmering in a pan of water for a few minutes.
Funnily enough I was looking at some of these today and very nearly bought them - then remembered one of the local charity shop has a box of them so would rather see my money go thereMy hands are ..... ok
I was explaining to my mum and said 'it feels like someone's snuck in with a tiny wrench and tightened all the bolts on my joints' Not exactly painful but very very achy
I'm back to the doc's Monday so hopefully will get some sort of explanation
minerva_windsong wrote: »Threading - very effective but in my view gentler than waxing. A couple of paracetamol/ibuprofen about 20 minutes before the appointment should ease the pain as well.
ooooh - never thought of threading - there's a salon on my local high street that has really reasonable prices and are quite good (my P&P serum 'testing' friend had his eyebrows done and was v pleased) I may pop in and enquireI've given up on these products as I never found one that worked without leaving me with a big red irritated mark on my top lip which was worse than the hair. I now use a No7 Hair Trimmer that I picked up in the sales. I don't really have much upper lip hair except at the two corners of my mouth where it's very stubborn. This works a treat and I'm pretty sure Boots still sell them.
I don't have a top lip problem - mine's on my chinny-chin-chin:rotfl: Would it work there too? I'm asking for Boots vouchers for my birthday so could have a look then
Home bargains had some of those microfibre towels for your hair, the turban type in white for 99p eachcharlie792 wrote: »OOO I do like them, I don't use them very often but after Ive dyed my hair and washed it out I do - always wrap my hair in them because there is always excess dye that doesn't come out in the shower, stops me messing up all my towels
I use them for the same thing - stops OH moaning about the towels :rotfl: I must have half a dozen in various stages of knackeredness
Hugs to you charlie for your hamster - Losing a pet is heartbreaking
I'm off to the naughty step - again *hangs head in shame*but got a bargain so don't care *pthhhtp* :rotfl:
My IN's for todayPopped into Boots (as planned!) to look at night creams to replace the icky one I'm using (now demoted to foot cream
) and use my skinny to pick up a No7 Revitalising Hand Saviour (my HG, one I have is 1/2 gone and I don't have one in stash) and found on the clearance section a gift-type box of Full Size! L'Oreal Wrinkle De-Crease Collegen Day Cream & L'Oreal Wrinkle De-Crease Collegen Filler Eye - reduced from £22 to £7
:D:D - so in that went
and then I chose a Simple 'Kind to Skin' Vital Vitamin Night Cream - all in the 3for2 with my skinny - total £13
:D:D
I now have one eye cream in use and one in stash, one day cream in use (spluttering) and one, plus a sample, in stash and one night cream. So not too bad overall
One UU - BS Spiced Vanilla Body Butter - will be gone tonight after my bath: WIBA? Yes! Yes! Yes! but can't so boo yah sucksThere'll be some form of it back next year so will treat myself then :rotfl:
Moving on to the Hello Kitty Cherry Body Butter next :rotfl:
Talking of Body Butter - I have noticed that this tub has lasted me longer than the last couple - I wonder if it's because I'm now using it (almost) every day I need less??
I didn't get the ASOS voucher so will have to treasure my last tube of Clean Mary (or go ebaying of course)
Right - OH is off the phone to his mother (they just won Best in Breed at Crufts :j:j:j:j) so I'm off to catch up on the goss and then go for my bath.
Oh! Didn't get my nibbly-fish-pedicure today as planned (went for a chinese instead :rotfl:) but am planning to tomorrow if I feel up for it  :rotfl:
:cool:0 -
Kaz - that is HILLARIOUS !!!!!!!!! (cant think why he wont want back sack and crack....
) and as for you Celebrate - Im SOOOO glad you are on here too!!! rofl
Red didnt get her eggs pinched today - apparently the "pillock" of a vet fell/got knocked over TWICE today and fell on his hands both times (stud managers words, not mine!!!) - so he was in no fit state to do her today - hes going back to do her tomorrow. Apparently they were close, but not too near to do the toher day,but they were in a really awkward spot - so he tried, but stopped after 10 minutes trying as he was worried that he was going to hurt red (who apparently was a total star and barely moved while he was fishing about!!) With a bit of luck it will just pop really easily tomorrow - failing that it might be damaged enough that it dies and gets absorbed, and if not, then they might well abort them and cover her again. That would be a last resort though - so fingers crossed that doesnt happen....
xxxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
:eek::eek:.....
.....As he was leaving he asked what I was doing, so I had to tell him I was just telling you all because you'd laugh espescially as I only confessed to the ins today. He just sighed and went out shaking his head. Poor chap, he's got the patience of a saint that man :rotfl:.
:eek::eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Bless ya - and bless that man of yours! He really must want his back waxed to go and buy a microwave straight away :rotfl::rotfl:debidoodle wrote: »This works for me, I apply lipstick then blot my lips with a tissue, I then re-apply a further coat of lipstick.
Another idea make up artists use is to apply your foundation to your lips as a base.
I do both - foundation as base, one coat, blot (and dust with translucent powder) and then second coat. I very rarely need to re-apply during the day.
trudij - will keep everything crossed it all goes well tomorrow!!0 -
So far i've resisted the asos offer. :A Actually it's probably more to do with the massive migrane, the birthday party and the gallstone pains without a gallbladder that have been going on today. I'm dosed up on Nurofen + so i'm a bit woosy. I may have to go and have another look.
Can anyone recommend a cheapish eye cream. I don't use one at the moment but think i probably should. Has any one tried the S&G one? My skin is quite sensitive and prone to spots.
I'd love to see your stash celebrate.0 -
Thanks for the ideas Ladies - I've tried the foundation then lipstick - blotting, reapplying but still find that it only lasts a couple of hours if I'm lucky! I'd thought of Lipcote (last time I tried it was in the '80s!) but couldn't find it in my local Boots or Superdrug...Always be yourself, unless you can be a Unicorn - then always be a Unicorn !

Holly hope you soon feel better, I have used the Organic Surge eye gel, doesn't contain any nasties and is a lovely lightweight gel to use.0 -

Urban Decay do a lip primer potion which is meant to keep lipstick on. I have used it, but longest I wear lipstick is an evening, and it was ok for that. So might be an idea?
Hope Red's ok trudij.
Celebrate, we have to see the total stash. It's easy to upload photos, are you using camera or phone? With camera and most new computers having memory card slots, you just take the memory card out of camera, put it in correct slot on pc & follow instructions. Assuming its a pc and has memory card slots? If not we can try more directions. No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
