Didn't even go to work today, just relaxing with a hot water bottle and lots of tea and catching up with recordings. Watching The Mentalist at the moment.

Welcome to all the newbies, everyone's really friendly and helpful here.
Celebrate I can't add to all the wonderful advice you've been given but am glad you've found the thread as everyone is so supportive.
Trudi the foal is beautiful, I hope you get good news when your horse is scanned tomorrow....lucky you owning a horse!
Confession time now, ins seven clinique items with Glamour, Caudalie quenching sorbet (gift from Glamour subscription).
LOL - the tiny writing doesnt get overlooked you know!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
IN and UU: my roots were showing so I needed to dye my hair again. It had faded too and was looking orangey instead of red! Picked up a dark auburn for £1.99 and used it today. Admitedly I do have one dye in the stash but its red/black and I prefer lighter shades for spring/summer.
Took my nail varnish off tonight and couldnt find the nail varnish remover so I'm assuming my daughter might have finished it off. I'm treating it as a UU anyway (there wasnt much left in it) and have started the new bottle.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

I fancy taking a photo of mine to show you guys but i'm too lazy!
you'd all die of shock anyway!
ETA: Linky.... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=40165028&postcount=955 Now bear in mind that I have been on this challenge since it began in Jan 2011. I haven't bought shampoo since August 2008 and I recently bought my fist conditioner since then too.
I had a carrier bag full of shower gels given to me by MiL in Aug 08 which were 10p. There's a reason for that! My bathroom and all my floors were clean for aaaaaaggggees!
DH never uses his little aftershaves so I use them as room fragrances on cotton wool balls. It uses them up!
Congratulations, comiserations, whoops, boos and happy birthdays available. Deal them out amongst yourselves please.
All of you on the naughty step, are you done yet? I wanna be able to get up to bed without breaking my neck in the morning!
I'm afraid I can't join tomorrow nights session 'cause I'm at w*rk again. I may catch up on Wednesday. Unless it's face mask 'cause I haven't got any. I did the full shave last night as I was starting to resemble a yeti! Toes to be done on Wednesday night before I start the ironing.

mmmmm, yummy! I tend not to be able to follow the story line due to perving though!
Errrrrm, what else?
Oh yes! Celebrate, I suspect Professor Plum in the kitchen with the rope. Am I right?
And FINALLY, because I'm feeling naughty....
Two elderly hippies are sitting in the sun smoking some we ed. One turns to the other and says
"Have you ever been picked up by the fuzz?"
The other looks into the sky, deep in thought and replies
"No. But I've been swung round by the t1ts!

Well my vertigo medication has kicked in and I'm too drowsey to work
I was sent home as soon as I got to office! I'll prob be home all week so I can attempt to use up/ebay/donate some of my smallish stash at least.
2 UU's today
- travel size hotel shower gel
- full size Primark mango body scrub - WIBA? It smells amazing, but I'm not a body scrub fan so nope. I still have 3 more full size others to get through first anyways!

:DHi everyone
Spent two days catching up. So many newbies with so many wonderful stashes! Big hugs to everyone feeling low or going through a difficult time -keep posting this is the best thread on MSE!
I have been sorting out my stash and sold a shower gel on ebay so pleased I've made a start. Got alot of help on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2949734 about ebaying etc and once you get started it is great checking how many bids you have.
celebrate - I was unsure about ebay at first but there is loads of help out there on how to get started setting up paypal and perfumes even opened ones sell really well. Look out for the next free listing weekend they have just had two - next one might be hopefully in the next month.
2 UU's - Decleor Arommesense Neroli 5ml -WIBA - yes but got two other serums to go. Also MOP C-system hair mask - WIBA - had this for years it was nice but need a change - will use up satchets of Philip Kingsley Elastisizer next.
Have noted a problem with using up so many facial satchets and samples etc is that your skin goes haywire. I have two big swollen zits on my cheek bone that no amount of concealer is covering up. Feel like a teenager in my mid thirties - (I'm sure there is a positive in there somewhere!)
P.S. Is there a pamper party tonight?0 -
*hugs for lyndseydee and sawan*
Two OUTs for me last night and this morning:
Boots Gorgeous Feet Reviving Overnight Rescue WIBA? Probably not, it smelt nice and I liked the texture but I never felt like it really did anything. But then again maybe my feet are just too nasty for it to have any effect...
Lush Bearded Lady Bath Ballistic WIBA? Again, no, as it didn't have any colour and didn't really smell of anything, although it was very bubbly.
I'm up for a pampering session tonight, although if it's face masks I may have to choose an alternative of some kind - I'm thinking changing my nail polish at the moment, or possibly deep conditioning my hair.
Also, I have decided that I am not allowed to buy anything - clothes, toiletries, books, basically anything that takes up space! - before I move, as I've got enough junk to take down there as it is and don't need any more to struggle with on and off trains. Sadly there are loads of pretty clothes I'm lusting after right now so I'm going to have to sit on my hands and resist the urge to shop!
I'm starting the clearout tonight and really not looking forward to it. I know it has to be done, but in a way it feels so final - I've lived here most of my life, and now I'm probably only going to ever come back a handful of times a year. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about moving and starting my new life in London (especially as a really exciting potential job has come up!), but I think it's just that feeling of a major part of my life being over."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
OMG flirtini - you have made me smile! now go start using things up!
No UU for me yet, most of the stuff I am using at the minute are ercent starts so might be a while!
Did my nails and a face mask last night though so onwards and upwards!
BIG hugs to all that need them. This really is one of the best threads around. You guys are always here for anyone that needs and I thank you all for that from the bottom of my heartNew surname New start!
