Well had one estate agent come round today to value the house and it's not as bad as I thought, although could have been better!!

Worse thing was to come home and find half the house missing. Apparently hubby has taken it upon himself to take furniture out of the house, I thought to have it stored somewhere, but it seems as though he may have found himself somewhere else to live and needed the furniture for his new place. It wouldn't be so bad but he hasn't told me anything, not even that he was moving out, and won't answer any of my calls or texts.

Trying to stay on the positive side but am finding it upsetting that he can just so easily move on as if nothing's wrong.

Sorry to have a moan but I just feel really down at the moment.

Even worse still, no toiletries used up

aahh, anytime you feellike chatting, you know where we are....

the guys on this thread (i am new) have been very good for me in the last few days, v supportive bunch, a big thanks to all you mad shopaholics!!

someone i know once said when you marry someone you shouldn't choose someone you want tolive with , it's someone you can't live without. My Oh and I are like that. I think thats why we have split up and got together again so many times. I would love it if he took a job nearer to us but he likes his time away and he gets on my nerves after a couple of days anyway. I like my own space too.

I know everyone else on this thread is advising you to get solicitors involved etc but i am more of a trying to sort things out person, personally i would give him some time, ypu can still change the locks to show you are not a pushover. Do you have any suspicion there is a 3rd party involved at all?

I know how supportive everyone on here can be, all the problems started just after Christmas and everyone had me in tears with all the nice words everybody was saying.

When my hubby asked me to marry him at first I said no as I have been married before and my divorce hadn't long come through, but after it being on my mind all day every day I soon realised that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and that this was the one (it was second time round for us too). Because of the person he is I should have known that my ideas of happily ever after wouldn't be the same as his.

I've done the trying to put it back together, so to speak, as I suggested in the New Year about going to counselling. He attended two sessions before I found out for definite that he had registered himself on a dating website and it's just gone downhill from there. Despite giving him the opportunity to explain himself all he's done is ignored me. If he'd explained why he'd done it I probably, rightly or wongly, would have suggested we try and work through it, but he's shown me exactly what he thinks of me and I'm not going to put up with that anymore.

What I've got to keep telling myself is that although I know I'm not perfect I know he will never find anyone as good as me and that he's lost out on a good thing. We could have had a really happy marriage but he's chosen otherwise. Just got to think positive thoughts and think about me for a change.

Sorry for rambling on but I have to keep saying these things to believe them.

Oh ld - that dating site thing - my heart sank for you. The g*t! The absolute g*t! If he has chased some skirt then he is sadly in for a wake up call. Just don't be around then.

Now I think lynseydee that you deserve to be our - heroine of the week - you're showing fighting talk and its impressive stuff. So you should have a thinkie overnight - and tell us all tomorrow evening what pampering we should do - an online pajama party! I love the thought of writing on here tomorrow with a face mask and hair mask on!

Don't be sorry for rambling, I do it all the time! lol!

I totally respect you for your attitude, its so easy in this situation to start beating yourself up and wondering why you weren't good enough. He doesn't deserve you.

The problem with these leaches (sorry men i mean) is that once they know you'll let them get away with it they will keep abusing your trust (this is where i have gone so totally wrong with my OH). If he was logging onto dating sites while you were together (even though you might have been having problems -thats no excuse) YOU should have given him the boot then.

Well done for trying to sort things out-sounds as if he is beyond help. I have learnt the hard way the saying "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink".

We are all here for you. X

That's very kind of you to say but if I was such a heroine I probably should have walked years ago :rotfl:

Ok, I'll have a think, although I think if we're going to make this a regular thing (I did paint my nails with most others last week) I thinks whoever chooses needs to choose something they say they'll do on a regular basis but never do and then we can all do it together. I think a lot of us will use more stuff up if we all do it together virtually. For me that might mean using up that last bit of body lotion that I keep trying to use up but still keeps spluttering
