Unfortunately since moving away from my family I don't have any friends around here and the friends I do have are too far away.

I think you have it the right way, I always wondered whether our marriage might have had a better chance if we'd continued to live apart after we'd gotton married.

Without being too specific Lynsey, remind me again roughly where you are?
Oh ld - that dating site thing - my heart sank for you. The g*t! The absolute g*t! If he has chased some skirt then he is sadly in for a wake up call. Just don't be around then.

Now I think lynseydee that you deserve to be our - heroine of the week - you're showing fighting talk and its impressive stuff. So you should have a thinkie overnight - and tell us all tomorrow evening what pampering we should do - an online pajama party! I love the thought of writing on here tomorrow with a face mask and hair mask on!

Seconded, and I am SO up for that! :D

So, the challenge begins! Tonight I'll be putting together a box of stuff I really am never going to use, to either donate to friends or good causes. For example, I have several hairsprays, and I never use hairspray. I have a ridiculous amount of makeup for someone who literally uses the same 7 items every day with a couple of sparkly glam ones for nights out - how do I have sooooo many lip glosses for someone who rarely wears any!!!!

I'll start listing my outs tomorrow!

Really starting to feel like one of the gang now. Even already been initiated to the naughty step ;)

Thank you Flirtini! I feel so much better about my List of Shame! You have some lovely lovely products!

Will try and get the rest of mine typed up tomorrow night depending on when I get back from the airport. I keep remembering stash hiding places but I think I'm through the worst. I thought this would only take about an hour or two at the weekend - hah!

    xx

Oh Celebrate - I felt I had nothing to add to what everyone else has said to help - I'm so glad I could make you feel better in my own dysfunctional way!!! It's so good to know there's other hoarders like us out there, and I already feel like I have a support system in place to help me from going way OTT on the buying in future!

And of course a valuable resource of information on the best products for those absolutely essential buys when I do get to the point of running out! (er... when will that be?!) :rotfl:

    Welcome to all newbies :)

Totally huge hugs to everyone who's not feeling great, or is going through a bad patch. Hugs to lynsey and celebrate.

I've been keeping track of the board but been down all weekend, would have been 5th year anniversary of meeting my OH :( Also had horrific period pains which made me more miserable :( Didn't even go to work today, just relaxing with a hot water bottle and lots of tea and catching up with recordings. Watching The Mentalist at the moment.

Loved the stash lists & photos, especially the foal. Painted my nails Nails Inc Belgravia. Nice shade, will definitely use again.
