My stupid internet keeps dropping, and I never usually have that problem
And it's so grey, rainy and miserable here too
charlie, that's perfect timing about finding that job listed - go for it! A last minute try is better than no try!
bev - hope you feel better soon *hugs*
minerva - like we need more tempting with buying nail polishes
No UUs today, but I squeezed the daily smooth bb into my EL pot last night, and now it's no longer a chore to use it. I only need one hand to take it out the pot, whereas even two hands squeezing the tube it's in to get it out weren't enough :rotfl:No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
May INs: 14 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 11
2012 INs: 77 UUs/OUTs/GAs: 91
Savings from UUs: £60.50

Good luck with the job application!
Well I have UU a soap & glory mini righteous body butter, wba but won't need to, as I have a bout 15 body butters to use first.
I have 3 naughty INs, I was waiting to meet a friend for coffee and cake and popped into the local pharmacy for pro plus, they had Clearasil night serum for £1 and it's £7.43 in Boots, so bought that and what looks like Clean & Clear moisuriser for £1.49, but it could be anything as the packaging is in polish:rotfl:
And then I thought I would try the St Moriz tanning mousse, so have that ready and waiting for tonight.0 -

Good luck, you MUST go for it! You'll never stop wondering if you don't.

A question for you ladies.......................do you layer scents???
it's just something that I started pondering while in the shower the other day. I've got a couple of "expensive" shower gels (now being used instead of saving) that have matching perfume, body spray and body lotions. But I dont know if its worth the extra expense to buy matching shower gels.
I do but not always matching sets. ie I have the Philosophy Amazing Grace set on the go and have the Pure Grace kit in my stash.
Otherwise I layer similar smells. When I'm using my S&G Righteous butter I use elemis Frangipani shower gel (floral). When using my TBS Shea body butter (can see the bottom of the pot now so not sure how much longer for) I use a variety of different sweet smelling Philosophy ones (have been naughty and opened a few at once) and when I want a zesty wash I use TBS Sweet Lemon scrub, Lemon and tyme shower gel and Lemon whip body lotion.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Oooh can't believe this is page 100!
Charlie! - get off this forum and head down on that job app - fingers and toes crossed for you.
Yes, it's a bit miserable outside, but hidden in the bottom of my handbag and giving me an inner gloware 2 INs sneaked in at the end of the month....BS voucher (£5) = 1 x dewberry shower gel and 1 x aluminium free deodorant (won't block my pores) = voucher plus £1.50. I know I should feel guilty but I DON'T!! :j:j I have been good for a few weeks now.....well, one at least! Gonna try really hard to be better in April, but well, what the heck, may as well have a blow out for March - got another voucher to spend tomorrow and my groupon - if I spend them both tomorrow, then I'm 'clean slate for April'...
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Good Luck Charlie with your application.
Pudsey - I do layer scents if I have the full set but otherwise I try to choose something which will complement, i.e zesty, sweet or floral hth.The devil makes works for idle hands0 -

To me, it seems that the scent is stronger and lasts longer with the perfume and lotion, so I'm thinking I could just use a nice smelling cheap shower gel and add the scent when I'm dry.
What are your thoughts?
Not really - I tend to use whatever shower gel I have to hand, a neutral scented body lotion like Palmer's or something that just generally smells 'clean', and then my perfume over the top. I've just sniffed my arm (thank God for an empty office!) which is a mixture of Body Shop Black Velvet Apricot and Veet Hair Minimising Moisturiser and it smells OK.charlie792 wrote: »I have just found my PERFECT job but it closes tomorrow and I really need to think about my answers for the application form..Its working as an administrator for Victim Support in cardiff - so its dead accessible by train, Ive got administration experience and it relates directly to my degree. Do it! I've got an interview tomorrow at a university in London which I applied to totally at the last minute on Thursday afternoon (OH told me about it three hours before it closed!) and found out I'd got the interview on Monday morning. EDIT:
Right am home now
I took advantage of some offers in the BS but I got the total of my shop to exactly £30 so no extra to pay....
