Do you remember which body lotion it was as I have a few Avon ones so wanted to check if I had the same one as most of mine are over 5 years, although the one at the moment seems to be ok.
It was a Senses lotion - a purple one with lavender and called "My Moment". but it definately wasnt it's moment anymore!! :rotfl:I need to invest in some decent nv remover - does anyone have any recommendations?
I bought Asda's own nv remover and find it pretty effective despite being cheap.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
The length of the naughty step sounds about right. I'm sure MrT's thread has a lot to do with that though
(Like we needed help with the extension :rotfl::rotfl:)
UU:
Lush The Comforter- WIBA? Yes - my HG bubble bar. But the only way I'll use my ballistics is not to buy another (though I do have a Magic Mushroom in stash).
No7 Radiance Revealed exfoliator has started spluttering. The Elemis toner is still going-will it ever finish? Watch this space...
I always forget what I wanted to say when I post
Ooh, remembered one thing, if anybody wants a Lush ballistic (Big Blue or Champagne Supernova) let me know and I'll post them out. I think I have 2 blue ones (definitely 1) and 1 supernova. I must warn you, I'm sometimes slow to get to a post office! No cost either of course. No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Evening all,
Jumped onto my dad's netbook as trying to post from my phone takes far too long and my laptop's at work.
valm your post really made me laugh. all along he knew it was foot cream??! :rotfl:
thevicster I'm basically a yo-yo with how I'm feeling. So it's like everything's great, then an hour later utterly down. Getting used to it though, so try different things to occupy my mind now when I feel a 'down' bout coming on. Thanks so much for asking, it's really appreciated.
I'm also slightly stressed as been waiting an hour for my sister to get out the bathroom
Going to have a Lush The Comforter bath now methinks. Then come back and place a L'Occitane order if awake enough.
Welcome to all our new fellow addicts
Hopefully pop back on later tonight
Hope things get better for you soon...it must be a really strange situation to be in
Purple crackle polish turned up tonight,OH tripped over it when coming home from the pub :rotfl:Will have a go with it on Thursday...turquoise and purple or pink and purple? :rotfl:You so need to get one Sawan!:rotfl:Not that I'm encouraging you or anything

Just noticed that Mitchum is £1.85 in Tesco at the moment so may buy 1 next time I am in.Charlie792 - I lost my phone once walking back from Mum and Dad's with the dog, checked all the usual places about 50 times, rang M&D who searched their house and garden and the street and even neighbours gardens. I then re-checked all the usual places and eventually re-traced my steps back to their house looking all over the street and road - nothing. Went back home and found the sodding thing in the little zip up compartment of my handbag where I always kept it at the time - I checked this sooooooooooooooo many times I can't see how I missed it.
Another one here always losing things searching all over and then finding in the first place I looked.thevicster wrote: »Also agree about the 500ml sizes - I'm sick of using a 500ml s&g one now too
I also agree re the large 500ml sizes, or even bigger, so hard using them up and it gets boring. I wont be buying this size again unless they are giving it away.
Welcome to the newbies scrappie and gigglepig.
A couple of UU, Dove AP spray the yellow one WNBA, not overly impressed so would not buy again. Decided my HG is Mitchum and am trying not to be swayed into trying others again and stick with what I like best.
A body lotion that came in a gift set with perfume Beat, think it was rimmel, was ok but again WNBA.
Finished another shower gel, a Radox one, dont think they do any more, it was ok but I have that many showergels in my stash am trying not to be any more except for my DS who goes through them like they are going out of fashion, so am hoping to get him some Lynx at Tesco, hopefully DTD.
I tried the No7 skin peel kit I got from boots a couple of years ago on a glitch, was ok but think I need to use a few more times to notice a difference so will try and use it over the next few weeks. Opened a new moisuriser as I felt my skin needed it, opened the L’Oreal Derma Genesis Intensive Night Cream as I am using the day one at the moment and thought I would actually use 2 matching products for a change. Have a few of these in from the H&B days at Tesco. Feels nice on the skin but not sure I would pay that much for a moisuriser, may be tempted by the £3 olay in Asda though
A few INs but very little spendbought the Nice N Easy Foam hair colour last week, had 2 x £1 mocs so only cost £3 and thought it was worth a try. Got home that night and discovered the free hair colours from Superdrus on beforeishop and printed off and picked up 2 free hair colours:D still can resist a freebie.
Also 'bought' an olay face cream from Tesco DTD so another freebie.
Still trying to catch up on the thread, spending too much time on the Tesco DTD thread, like a few others on here
Have a couple of the olay red tube serum freebies I received this month but cant remember which order to use do I use the serum first or the moisuriser? I know someone posted it on this thread but looking for the answer is like searching for a needle in a haystack!

I have been rubbish at keeping up with the thread as have been away etc so promise to pay full attention in April. On the plus side I have not purchased anything new since my tesco confessions.
Also have some uu's
Gok shower scrub - i really liked this and was impressed, in particular it was easy to get the scrub out of the tube.
bs shower gel - minature, fine but nothing special.
Aussie three minute conditioner - hg and would get again.
John Freda blonde conditioner minature - more in stash.
Oh also tried s&g crush scrub really loved it and the smell will need to buy a big pot to try!
hope everyone well, will try to scan back now and catch up x0 -

Hello Gigglepig and Scrappie, welcome!
Non Bought Ins (the ins that don't count!)
Went and spent my £3 Superdrug own brand voucher after work. It was an interesting exercise. My own, self imposed challenge rules meant that I couldn't spend any cash on toiletries, so what I bought had to be under £3 and topped up with a non toiletry Superdrug own brand purchase.
That ruled out the lovely body butters.
I wanted an intensive hair conditioner treatment for brunettes - and I got one for the laughable price of 69p. Colour Radiance Intensive Conditioner 150 ml . It's labelled as being a new product.
Alongside it was the ordinary, non intensive Colour Radiance Conditioner for brunettes, on clearance at 75p for 250 ml.:money: I wanted a brunette 'ordinary' conditioner, stroke of luck.
I then hit a snag - what else? It had to be Superdrug own label but I don't really need anything...
Then I spotted a body polish. I don't have one and my son uses these, if I should happen not to like it.
It was Spa Exfoliating Body Polish, on clearance at 49p.
With time running out and having to get home I spent £1.84 on own brand kitchen spray and painkillers, making a total of £3.77.
I'm proud that I managed to resist getting shampoo I don't need, ditto body sprays or lotions.
I'm so chuffed with my 'buys'.:jErma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Just dropping in to say welcome to Gigglepig and Scrappie :hello:
Hop aboard, this is one of the friendliest threads on MSE.
It's great fun reading everyone's reviews and then trying to avoid the temptation to go out and buy the stuff.
Just be warned though - there's no trying to hide your purchases - you can't sneak anything passed this lot - I know - I've tried! :rotfl::rotfl:
Have a great day ladies, xx0 -
Welcome Newbies  You'll love it here with us, but stay away from the Tesco DTD thread, and the Grabbit board and you'll be fine :rotfl:
3 UU- Orange Vanilla Handcream that I got in USA. If I could buy it again I probably would, it was a lovely product and smelled delicious. Onto HandFood next.
2x perfume samples. Cindy Crawford Feminine and Diesel Fuel for Life. FFL was cr*p, lasted about an hour on me and CC smelled gorgeous but only lasted 3 hours tops. Maybe if she did a EDP version it'd be better?
INs- used DD's L'Oreal voucher for freebie mousse dye.
- Got 3 more perfume samples. Perfume is definitely my weakness. I haven't bought any toiletries for weeks now, but keep drifting back to the fragrances0
