Afternoon ladies! What a lovely sunny day it is today :D

Thanks for all the tips on the nv remover! I picked up a boots own one just for now but i'll look in to the other.. and probably end up with about 70 different once to choose from before long:o:rotfl:

I have no U/Us today, but i did offload some of my 'not gonna use again ever ever' shampoo and conditioners on my mum :j

A few little ins to report:o When i say a few.. and little... I think I may spend April camped on the naughty step.
    So ins: nv remover, 20 (i know, i know... :o ) x nail varnishes in various colours, 2 x lip balm, 1 x body butter, 1 x mascara, 1 x shampoo and 1 x conditioner (2 for £4), 1 x brunette colour glaze and 1 x straightening cream (BOGOF) :o:o:o
*disappears to the naughty step with sleeping bag....* :rotfl:

Where did you buy 20 nails varnishes from?? (and more importantly, which ones? Shhh.. don't tell the others I was asking..)

Placed an order with L'Occitane. 3x Lavendar hand gel trios (one for each of my two sisters for mother's day and one for me), got to pick 2 free sample sachets, and instead of using free delivery code, I found a code for a free gift set wys £35 (it's gorgeous and apparently worth £20!!)
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

FFL was cr*p, lasted about an hour on me and CC smelled gorgeous but only lasted 3 hours tops. Maybe if she did a EDP version it'd be better?

I have fuel for life and it was so strong it gave me a headache:mad: I made the mistake of wearing it the day I had an exam. Couldn't concentrate on physics even though I had put it on 7 hours ago:rotfl:

Good luck charlie and minerva with the interviews, keeping everything crossed for you.

A little uu, M&S calming day cream, demoted yesterday to foot cream, wiba? yes but I don't think they do it anymore but I really, really don't need anymore.

Ins - HE volumising shampoo and conditioner 400ml 2 of each, 3 cans nivea pearl and beauty deoderant and 1 roll on - these are on the tesco dtd so will be out again if the voucher doesn't come through.

Having a bath tonight with some Calm one Calm all, am concentrating on using that up now as I have another in the stash. Bubble Bath isn't too much of a problem with me though and I do use it up quite quickly, am going to use my Guinot mask essential tonight too. My skin is looking very ropey and this is like a lavendar clay that you can use all around your eyes too and it doesn't dry so no rubbing. It's a fab mask that really works and lasts ages which at c£25 a tube it should do:eek:.

Essential but blummin heavy to carry around town in a carrier bag mind

As I have the house to myself (DD out at gangshow rehearsal until 9.30 and DH & DS gone to the driving range until I don't know when) and I have a terrible snotty horrible cold, would it be wrong of me to get in the bath now and pamper myself?
No, good! I didn't think so..... I can almost hear my pyjamas calling me :D

well the good news is I finally found where this job was advertised, I didnt apply for it, they just saw my CV online....Don't think Im going to be wasting my time with the interview tomorrow. Done some research and it turns out this so called 'job' is basically door step selling for charities (the worst kind and totally unethical in my opinion) and utility companies...Its commission only and your lucky to make £40 a week because your self employed so no minimum wage requirements.... Had a look on here and other websites and everyone basically says its a scam and to avoid it....

Somewhat dissapointing but at least I know in advance so I can tell them where to stick it....Will spend my evening getting this application done for the job I actually want!

Kaz that sounds like the perfect way to spend an evening - shame that DH is coming home later otherwise you could change the bed sheets and have them all to yourself. I personally find the the 'clean sheet' experience is totally wasted on men!!!!

Sorry havent been able to keep up with the thread, but I am pleased that I have managed another month without buying anything except some Dove Soap in my Approved Foods! today. But I am sure I can probably get through April now except for the usual Shampoo. One bottle lasts me a month or so, and I have enough deo for another month, unless one of my twins stops.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

No UUs today, but I squeezed the daily smooth bb into my EL pot last night, and now it's no longer a chore to use it. I only need one hand to take it out the pot, whereas even two hands squeezing the tube it's in to get it out weren't enough :rotfl:

I have the same problem - and with the hard bottles it's even worse - I had to cut open my Burts Bees Lotion and decant in into a pot so I could use it

Having a complete 'mare with our PC today - after bumping it down the stairs :o it's finally given up the ghost :( We've had to do a complete system reset and so have lost EVERYTHING on there :( and it still won't work. We've put in a claim and they are going to attempt to fix it but we don't hold out much hope - hopefully we can get it replaced

Means OH and I will be sharing the laptop for now - so heaven knows when I'll get to use it

Have half sorted out all the giftys I have :T and have just one IN so far: 2 x 100ml Miss Cole Body Butter - I remember I got these for pennies last year with the Debs £5 vouchers - they came in a gift set with some showergel but that seems really sticky so have put the gel in the donate box and kept the butter :D There was also a good quality bath puff so I've kept one and put one in the box. I've decanted the butters into a tub. I have to say the tubes were actually fairly easy to use and when I cut them open there was less than one application between both tubes.

I must finish making my mother's day cards tonight otherwise they won't be in the post in time :o
