  • Have done well today. Am 150 calories short of my daily allowance but am not hungry at all. :T

My danger point is at around 3.30pm when I crave a cup of tea and cakey type things. Depriving myself has led to Kitkat binges in the past. :o I'm going to build a nice snack into my day but wonder how much of it is habit and how much is a genuine craving.
  • Today has been a fairly good start, did some running and incline walking on the treadmill this morning 2.5k then went hiking for 3 hours in Wales, climbed Constitution Hill and walked along the costal path, it's certainly a nice way to get some exercise. I'm not going to mention the KFC I had for lunch:o

    Hi everyone,

Can I join you again for March please? I am hoping to lose another 7lbs this month. More would be nice, but it has to be 2lbs at the very minimum, which would make a stone in total this year.

I've done sooo badly today foodwise:

2 slices of toast with BUTTER
    120g of smoked salmon
    2 oranges
Copious amounts of Nutella and Lindt

I am having a really bad day, nothing is going right at all and I am craving sugar...blush.gif

It can't be a bad day with nutella AND Lindt in it tara474, i'm jealous!! :j My Favourites!!!
I have to admit, I have a bit of a nutella addiction and was stupid enough to buy some last week. I did just get the little size with the free glass - I keep telling myself we need more glasses!! Anyway I'm sorry to say there is only a third of it left. It is so good on freshly made toast!!!
However if I am to stick with this and see results then that has got to be my last jar in a while, well maybe for this month, I'm only human after all.

Thanks also to you tara747 for your kind words on February's thread, I only just read them today.

Been to my parents house today. Is it just my parents that still have afternoon tea at 3pm , Toasted tea cake anyone?? I was doing quite well ( except for the nutella issue) , I've even been weighing out my mini weetabix portions, ( the chocolate ones taste much better :naughty:) , Had a prawn sandwich for lunch, (on brown) and chicken & rice tonight. How many callories in a buttered T-cake???

Good luck to everyone in your Mad, March, Minimising and big thanks for the organising of this thread.

LOL, Nutella is addictive isn't it! I think I actually sickened myself earlier as I came home craving something simple and just had some noodles and veg. I'm going on hols this weekend and am looking forward to a break from chocolate and junk! I have got to shift this weight and I see this holiday as a good way to kick start myself (I always eat healthily and walk lots on hols).

No idea how many cals in a buttered teacake, but never mind. Put it behind you and move on! :T

The Dragon is the brains behind this thread and very grateful we all are too. :A

I weighed myself this morning - 156lb. I want to get down to 140lb. I'm in work at the moment, and I just saw a little brown bolt shoot under a desk. We have a mouse. Again.
