start weight 11st 8lbs.....if I could lose a few and keep off the cigarettes this month I would be ecstatic!
Sounds like a good plan to me (how is the no smoking bit going?)Can I throw my name into the ring?
I need to lose 30lbs for no other reason than to be healthy, already lost 7 since January. But if I can lose 7 more this month i'll be delighted.
Yesterday and today have gone well so far, avoided the cakes at work and instead did an hour on the bike at the gym. Followed by Jacket potato and cottage cheese.
I have a training course in London, the next few days, and unfortunately that means eating out, and not getting to the gym as much, but hopefully that shouldn't take me too far off course over the month.
Always glad to see new faces, I wish our local pub did their jackets with cottage cheese not cheddar - it would make life a lot easier!

its another £5 odd an hour and means we get to spend a decent amount on food again, so that will make this much easier - not having to factor in the cheapest of everything!Ok, ok, i need to go back onto Weightwatchers, lost 7 stone..... 2 back on, this has to change.....Help!!!:eek:0 -
Hi dragon and all! Welcome newcomers!!
Signing in for March.
Am going to do my weigh in on Thursday 3rd , which will give me exactly 4 weeks til the end of the month. Going to spend the next couple of days, off plan, but not too far off iykwim after Feb!
Exercise plan is minimum 5 x sessions per week. Ideally 3 x half hour walk and 2 x 45 min classes. Although this plan is flexible, that is the absolute minimum I must move my butt and do.
Good luck everyone, by the end of the month, summer clothes and swimwear will be beckoning, so keep that in mind!!0 -

Currently reading about the Potatoes not Prozac sugar addict theory, will discuss further later.Maldives_lover wrote: »I actually put on 1lb last month, but I'm still 5lb down from January:D
I now need to lose 16lb so I will aim for 7lb in March. I've started well, did 2.5 k on the treadmill this morning a mixture of incline walking and running. I'm going walking in Wales later so should do another few mile there.
Good luck everyone:T
All before 6:34am :eek::eek: Well done! :Tlizzie_dripping wrote: »Day 1 and just having breakfast. I've been weighing my porridge out for a while now and have realised that a big part of my weight problems come down to portion sizes!
Although a 30g serving doesn't look much in the bowl, it's a perfectly filling amount. Left to my own devices I would probably pour out about 3 x that amount.
Same here, must get the kitchen scales out!Hi dragon and all! Welcome newcomers!!

Is it possible to lose 7 pounds in 1 month? Any sucess stories?0 -
Hello All,
After being ill last year, I regained a lot of weight I had lost, and some more besides, but have decided that as I am now well on the road to recovery I am back on the diet bandwagon. I have more than half my body weight to lose, and although I am impatient, wee half stone increments will do me just now. I am veggie, and am trying the low carb /low GI thing as I tend not to have so many peaks and troughs with it and it pretty much suits my lifestyle. I am a snacker, and a biscuit eater - tbh I eat anythingbut having rules in place for myself should really help. I do lurk here but now that I am on days of the change of lifestyle, I thought it was time I took the plunge officially, so please add me to the list, Dragon.

Today's food so far; breakfast - fat free yoghurt with mixed berries and seven almonds; lunch - mixed salad with seeds and feta and 1 crispbreads (ryvita type) and fatfree hm jelly with yoghurt; dinner tonight is wholemeal pasta with chick peas and vegetables. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Hmmm, what have I eaten today...5 rice cakes, 2x pitta bread and homous, handful of wasabi peas, minestrone soup, an apple, and a pancake. Not the least I've ever eaten, but hey ho.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69
